(VALERIE'S POV)
"NO!", Missy screamed at lunch, causing a couple people at the tables around us in the lunch room to look. Missy didn't care, but my blush gave away that I did. "A date?!", she said, a little softer this time.
"I wouldn't call it a date...", I corrected her, not really sure what to say.
"I would. And that boy is fine.", Angela said, giving Harry a couple glances from across the room. Missy shoot her a quick glance, and then all the attention was turned back to me.
"Valerie he's dangerous!", Missy said, worry in her eyes.
"Oh leave her alone. Like he said, she doesn't have a choice.", Missy's friend Rosemary spoke up.
"Don't be silly. You always have a choice.", Missy retorted.
"But not when it comes to Harry Styles.", another friend, Violet said. "And who would want to say no to that.", she said raising an eyebrow, staring over at Harry.
"Guys stop staring! What if he sees you?", I said, my checks even brighter now.
"I could only wish he would see me.", Angela said before taking a huge chunk out of her apple, and glaring at Harry. Her face was priceless, causing the whole lunch table to erupt in laughter. Even me.
_____
I sat on my bed, waiting nervously. It was already six o'clock, and I still hadn't even thought about what I might wear. I could always go right next door and ask...
No! Stop it! It doesn't matter what you wear because this means absolutely nothing to you. You're just going because you have no choice!
I started having a fight with myself, when my dad walked in.
"Hey sweetheart.", he said with a small.
"Hey dad.", I replied, returning a smile.
"Got any plans tonight?", he asked. I wondered for a second if he suspected my plans. "Mom wants to know how much dinner to make.", he answered my question.
"Um actually yes. I'm going out tonight. Not sleeping over anywhere, but I'm not sure what time I'll be back.", I said, really hoping he would go with it.
"Alright sounds good. Call us if you need something or if the plan changes!", he cautioned, My dad was defiantly the cooler parent, but he didn't throw the rule book out of the window. "Have fun tonight.", he added, closing my door as he left the room. I breathed out a sigh of relief. But then a small part of me wondered, was it really a relief my dad's letting me go? Oh well, it wouldn't really matter;
I don't have much of a choice anyway.
I got up off of my bed, and nervously walked over to my dresser. What if I have nothing to wear?
I rolled my eyes. Stop being such a baby.
My dresser stood near my bathroom, which would be my next stop. I pulled out a draw, only to find nothing I thought would do. I marched over to my closet, and searched through the racks of clothes to choose from. I saw the perfect shirt, but I had no idea what bottoms to wear with it. My eyes rolled up, as if to ponder my choices. Once I thought of a good match, I went back over to my dresser, and looked through the draw containing my pants. I grinned once I found the winner.
I slipped on a aqua shirt, with sleeves stopping right at the elbow. Next I tugged on my black skinny jeans, completing the look with white converses. Next stop; the bathroom. I started at myself in the mirror. I pondered over what to do with my hair. I wore it up in a ponytail everyday at school, so anything would be an improvement.
My hair had natural waves usually, but I always straightened my hair, whether I was wearing it up or down. Today was no different. I straightend my hair, and let it fall across my shoulders. Next, I grabbed my phone and slipped it into my back pocket, running downstairs to tell my dad I would be leaving soon since it was 6:50. As soon as I stepped off the stairs, my dad was eyeing me from a chair in the living room, where he was on his laptop.
"A date, perhaps?", he asks as he observes my atire.
"I wouldnt excatly call it a date...", I mumbled, not used to talking about this sort of thing with my father. Just as I had said it, the door-bell rang. I rushed to open it, and wasnt surprised to see Harry standing there, dressed in a leather jacket, a white shirt with black skinny jeans, and some brown boots.
"You're early.", I said, stepping outside quickly before my mom came out from the kithcen to see who was at the door.
"As are you.", he said, noding towards me. I quikcly pushed him down the sidewalk, and then started walking ahead a bit, even thought I had no clue where we were going. I eventually turned around, and found Harry grinning at my butt, his eyes locked on it.
"Pervert.", I accused, scowling. Harry ripped his eyes away from my butt, and looked at the rest of me. He wasn't even trying to hid the fact that he was checking me out. I blushed knowing he was staring.
"You look great.", he finally said, looking me in the eyes. This only made my blush deepen, and I was forced to look at the gound to hide it. Once I thought it might be gone, I spoke again.
"So where to?", I asked, sort of just wanting to get this over with, sort of actually being excited for it.
"I have a place in mind, but I'm not sure it's a place to go on for a date.", Harry confessed.
"I wouldnt excatly call this a date...", I repeated once again today.
"Alright, then we'll go there.", he said, leading the way to his car, which we had already walked past. He opened the passenger's door for me, then allowed me to get in before closing it. As he was about to shut it, he stopped himself and looked at me.
"And by the way, this is a date.", he said with a wink before shutting my door and then getting into his seat.

Break Through
Romans"Who are you?", I breathed out. The boy's grip around me tightened, and he pulled me into him, so his head could lean down by my ear. "I'm your most beautiful nightmare."
