I remember the smile upon your lips the first time we carved a face together, you had begged me all year to allow you to finally help.

How can I say no when you pout just like your beautiful mother. You take after her so much, at least that's what I think. You have such a big heart, so filled with love and compassion. Your smile can captivate an entire room, makes me melt whenever I see it. Can never stay mad at you when you flash me that darling smile.

I suppose you are like me in some ways, the raven black hair, the startling green eyes. Though unlike me, your skin isn't porcelain white. But your not a nicely bronze tanned like your mother. Your a mixture of us both.

I suppose you also have my sarcastic attitude, and you've got some bite to you, but I don't blame you. People are idiots and you have to keep your guard up. Your mother may have scolded you for that time you pushed that boy off the swing, but I patted you on the back, after all, you were swinging on it first. But that's our little secret, just like this.

Jade was brought out of her thoughts by her wife Tori, who was walking down the basment stairs carrying the knives and towels.

Jade couldn't help but smirk and think, "Well, it does always get messy."

Jade watched as their six year old daughter Morgan, climbed on to a stool and smiled up sweetly at her mothers. "I need help with the eyes mommy."

They smiled back, looking adoringly at their daughter. They couldn't be prouder parents. She was a model student, even if she did get into trouble here and there, but all she had to do was flash her winning smile, well it was more of a grin, and any upset or angry feelings towards her would instantly melt away.

"Are you sure she's ready for this Jade? What if she accidentally cuts herself with the knife?" Tori asked, apprehension lacing her tone.

Jade smiled and pecked her wife on the lips, "There's nothing to worry about Vega she'll be fine." Tori never minded the use of her last name, it was like Jade's own personal nickname for her since everyone else called her Tori.

Tori nodded and kissed their daughter on the cheek before heading upstairs. Jade slid the stool her daughter was standing on infront of her and picked up the knife.

She showed her daughter how to properly handle it, but still kept a firm but gentle grip on her daughter's hand holding said knife.

Jade looked down to meet her grinning daughters face and couldn't help but grin back. Jade slowly raised their hands holding the knife and brought it down with enough force to make a loud thudding sound. Tori called up from the kitchen, "Easy Jade, that's a new table."

Little Morgan and Jade laughed before Jade kissed the top of her head. They looked behind them when they heard the Tori's returning footsteps.

Tori walked over to the table and smirked down at the head of the young boy who pushed Morgan off the swing . "Shame he was so young, but--" she took a moment to pause as she ran a hand through her daughter raven locks "--he shouldn't have pushed you off the swing. Bad people deserved to get punished."

Little Morgan looked up at her mother Jade and whispered softly,

"Don't forget to help me with the eyes."

Yes I am back with some Jori one shots. I am sorry I haven't written anything as of late but for awhile I was more into other fanfics such as Bechloe and Bellamione.

I'm also in the process of writing a fan fiction based off of one of my favorite games Skyrim. It's a fanfic dedicated to my Dovahkiin and her faithful companion Serana.

For all of you who have played the game and have the DLC that includes Serana I hope you enjoy it if you decide to read it, whenever I get around to posting it, which, won't be for a bit because I want it perfect.

Enjoy the one shots for now!
