Half of the time I don't want to pay attention to what's going on around me
There's so much bad things in this world and there's yet to have any good
No, I can not say " no, there are no good things in the world"
There are though
Have you ever heard a baby's first cry ?
Or watched baby kittens drink from there mother ?
I have and I knew that somewhere that there was love and kindness.
Until I heard the 10 gunshots outside
And how a couple houses down at midnight there was a drive by shooting
You see I don't want to live in this world where good things and bad things could be happing at the same time
I wanna live in a world of peace
