Chapter 17

Mia's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, with a strong arm around my waist. It was night, the moon was full and at its highest peak. Pulling the arm off me I replace it with a pillow, the person hugs it tightly.

Goosebumps raise on my arm as a soft, alluring voice whispers in my ear. Go Mia, follow your instincts. The voice was telling me, it sounded urgent. Rosa and Kala awoke to the voice and clawed inside me.

My eyes were switching colors fast, I was losing control. At some point I black out and my two forms united as one and took over my body.

"Mia? Mia!" Voices are calling my name, my mind in a fog and my body sore all over. "Mia?" They keep calling me, I can't force my eyes open, they are glued shut. A warm hand holds my cold one, "fuck she's cold as ice" a deep voice says.

Wake up

The same voice as before says, my body obeys and I lurch forward, eyes wide open and gasping for air. Bane, Chase, Alex and Noah were forming a circle around me, worried faces.

"What happened?" I ask my voice shaky and confused, "oh I don't you woke up in the middle of the night and left scaring the living shit out of us" Bane snaps. Alex gives him a look and Bane shoots me a look before storming off.

My lower lip trembles and my hair falls, surrounding "go I'll be fine" I say my voice shaky. "Their are guards in the woods, scream and they'll find you" Alex says and pats my head.

They leave in silence, wrapping my arms around myself I cry. My wolf and witch calling for their mate.

'G-Grayson? E-Ethan?' I sat weakly over mind link.

'Xavier!' Grayson shouts, 'get home right now' Ethan demands making me whimper at his Alpha tone.

'Tell us where you are, we are coming to get you' they chorus.

'White Luna pack' I say instantly, Rosa pushing through a little.

'We are coming' they say before cutting the link.

A small smile makes its way onto my face before I wipe my tears and shakily laugh. Rising to my feet in a fluid motion I make my way through the woods, in a white dress? My eyes widen as I look at it.

The dress fell to my feet in a graceful way and had an open back with lace sleeves. A pendant sat on my head. It was a head band that wrapped all the way around my head, I think there was a stone but I couldn't see.

Confused I make my way back to the pack house be smelling Chase's scent and following it. When I entered the pack house my family was in the dining room, talking in hushed voice.

"What's going on?" I ask making all eyes snap to me, "Alpha Ethan just called, they changed they mind about helping us. He says they'll be here tonight" my father says looking at my dress weirdly.

Containing my excitement I nod instead, "I'll take you to your room and then we will go shopping" my mom says excitement in her eyes. "Okay" I say softly and smile at her, she takes my hand and drags me up multiple stairs.

She stopped at a door in the Alpha hall, "this is your room, Bane is down the hall with Alex, Noah and Chase are beside you" she says and I nod. Grinning she opens my door, my room smelled freshly painted.

The walls were burgundy with black trim and dark oak wood. My bed was a Cali king with black sheets and red pillows dotted her and there. My room was fully equipped with a en suite bathroom and walk in closet.

"Wow" I say walking into my room, "do you like it?" My mom asks nervously while her fingers playing with the hem of her shirt. "I love it" I beam and flop onto my bed and led out a sigh of content.

"Get some rest, we will shop tomorrow" mom kisses the side of my head and walks from the room. I sigh and curl in a ball, not caring if I wrinkle my dress.

Ethan's POV

After receding Xavier's mind link Grayson and I packed our bags and put some of her clothes in one too. "How much longer?" Grayson asks, his right leg bouncing signaling her was anxious.

So was I.

Xavier had been gone a month, and after last week after Grayson and I received sharp abdomen pains she was in a whole shit ton of trouble. "Another hour or so" I grumble and step on the gas.

"Fuck" Grayson says and runs a hand through his hair, him and I had dark bags under our eyes and our hair was ruffled. I'm pretty sure we lost some weight, not much maybe a couple pounds.

Time ticked slowly and painfully, but there was no traffic. And with each passing mile seemed like she was a thousand away. My wolf was on edge, he could sense something off as we neared.

Something wasn't right

Mia's POV

When I woke up my hair was back to ginger and my vein was black along with the fire on my eye. Rosa and Kala were stirring from anxiety and excitement, "Mia get up, the Alpha's are at the border!" My mom calls from outside my door.

Getting up I stretch and brush my hair, I noticed I had a white cloak on over my dress "weird" I comment while looking at my reflection. All you could see was my lips, which were in a frown.

Fake smiling I run down the stairs and meet my family in the living room, I sat down beside Bane. My whole family looking at me in shock, "y-you really are a witch" Bane stammers and I nod.

My family falls silent, and I hear the sound of tires on gravel, they were close. My right leg started to bounce, then both. "Mia what's gotten into you?" My father asks, "nothing" I quip and play with my hands.

As soon as we all heard the gravel get closer Rosa sprung forward, my eyes switching to neon Violet under my white hood. Outside I heard the engine cut, Rosa jumped to our feet and raced out the door.

Swinging the front door open we run straight into the waiting arms of Grayson and Ethan, who hold us tightly. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I sob on Grayson's shoulder, they don't say anything but I'm set on my feet.

My hood is pulled down by Ethan whose eyes were black with rage, same goes for Gray. Looking at each other they nod and nuzzle their noses in my neck. "Your never leaving again" they chorus.

It all happened so fast, I felt their canines for a split second against my skin before they bite into my neck marking me as theirs.
