Shikamaru's pov

I know what to do now

"Fine, I'll get it, stay there and wait, don't even hurt her" I said and dash out

As Shikamaru went back with the scroll it his hands

"Let her go first" Shikamaru says, then the attacker let her go, Shikamaru tosses the scroll to him

Sora was in front of Shikamaru

What are you think hu?!

Then he open the scroll, he widens

"This isn't the scroll! " Then he drops the scroll, he grabs something from his pocket when he spotted

Wa?! I can't move?!

Sora was suprise too, Shikamaru was using his shadow possess technique

Then the jounins and Mari quickly saw what happen

"Are you alright Sora?!" Mari says cupping her cheeks, Sora was okay after all

"That was smart Shikamaru, we didn't plan to do this anyways" Iruka say, then apologize to Sora that they didn't came to their rescue

"It's fine, I'm free anyways" Sora says, then hugs Mari tight, then Mari return the favor

A FEW HOURS LATER

They set camp and we're talking when Ino quickly asked the question "Where's Sora? "

They all look around, they shrugged "She's at her tent, and she doesn't want to be disturbed, so don't interfere " Mari says

Then they resume what they were doing

"how and when did you become an Anbu? " one questions

"Lord Hokage saw my skills and says I was smart enough to go into Anbu missions, he even convinced me to join, which I forcefully agree" Mari says then smiles "And I was an Anbu at the age of 6, they say I was one of the youngest Anbu" She added

They were unbelievable to hear that

What?! That can't be

Is she fooling us?!

Then one question, that Mari didn't expect

"Please explain why are you two too much different? "

Mari thought for the moment then spoke "She was like that before, she was like us then after years with out her, she changed, she was cold she seem to not care to everything, I am cheerful and so as Sora, all thou, something is caging her emotions and be away from anybody... And I feel the same like you all do towards my sister" Mari look at the ground, that cheerful smile was replace with a sad smile and regretful eyes

The boy who questioned was also regretful, he didn't mean to hurt her , he was just curious

Shikamaru then stood up and went away not saying a word

He comes to a halt when he saw that figure watching the sky

And she was humming a song, and was peacefully looking at the sky, she turn her head and collide the gaze with Shikamaru and stopped humming

"What do you want? " She says back with her cold voice "Is there something you needed? " now with her sweet voice she had when she was humming

"Nah, can I sit next to you and watch the sky with you? " Shikamaru says not even knowing what was he saying, she nods in responds and as suspected, he flopped down and gaze up to the sky seeing the beautiful stars shining
