I honestly have no clue how much longer this book is going to be. probably not that long though, because I'm scared I'll be making it boring... anyways, for now, enjoy!
------------------------------
I smiled down at my near perfect Mexican boyfriend as he slept soundly with his head on my chest. Near? No, let me rephrase that, he was in fact perfect. I ran my hand through his slightly curly brown locks and kissed the top of his head. I loved him so much.
I loved every little thing about him. Now I know that saying that someone is perfect is often considered bullshit and something that only exists in sappy, cheesy romance novels. . . but Vic was perfect to me. He had just the right balance about him of a child that never decided to grow up and a caring, responsible adult who knew what he was doing.
I loved how he smiled, or how he'd chuckle and bite his lip when he got nervous. Then again, he did that when he was horny too, but I loved it. It was cute and hot at the same time. I loved how he'd always repeat certain phrases and somehow never forgot the things I said to him. Hell, I even loved how he forced me to watch these horrible scary movies with him, because he'd always hold me and make me feel safe.
Sure it was ridiculous that I was even scared, I mean they were just movies, but still. . .
With Vic I'm exactly who I'm supposed to be. I don't even understand how, but in his eyes I'm perfect, and I love the feeling it gives me. With him I don't need to worry about being shy, or being an idiot for that matter. Also because he is an idiot too, but I love that about him.
I have my bad days, my bitchy moments, but he knows exactly how to tame me. He's always been such a big ball of positivity, sometimes I don't even know how he puts up with me, but he does. And I love him for it. I always will.
Vic started moving around a little, scrunching his nose and yawning softly before he opened his eyes. "Well, well, look who's awake before me." He pointed out with a sly smile, his voice still laced with sleep.
I chuckled softly, still running my fingers through his hair. "You say it like it never happens. It happens a lot, you know? And it's going to be happening a lot again soon, too." I simply stated.
Vic huffed in amusement as he threw the covers off the top of our bodies, making me shiver slightly as I came in contact with the cold air. He then crawled down a little until he came face-to-face with my stomach, lifting my shirt in the process.
"Yes, you are going to throw our lives upside-down, aren't you?" He said in a child-like voice before planting kisses all over my stomach.
I giggled a little, mostly because I was little a ticklish. "I still can't believe it." He then whispered, running his fingertips around my bellybutton in circles. "You know, if you look from this angle, I guess you can sorta see something. Have you really never felt her kick or anything, though?"
I slowly shook my head. I really hadn't felt or experienced a thing. I mean, not that I knew of anyways.
"Well let's get up, your appointment is soon, right?"
I nodded as I watched him roll out of bed before he helped me up too. The doctor in Sheffield told us that it was okay to fly back to San Diego, but that I would have to go to see a doctor as soon as I could to get everything checked, just to be sure. So that's what we were doing.
While I got dressed, Vic went off to wake Tony since he had insisted on going with us to see his little sister. Soon enough, he was back in the bedroom and jumped into his clothes.
We made our way to the hospital, greeted friendly by my old doctor, Doctor Urie. I expected him to be at least a little concerned, since the last time I saw him, he was telling me about the dangers of giving birth in the future, if it was even possible. But he seemed to be relaxed, which actually worried me more.
