"Zayn! Wait up!"

The dark haired boy ignored her and shoved his hands further into his pockets. He knew that she was only trying to help, but Harry had no fucking reason to mock him. So what, being management's favorite made him better than everyone else? Not likely. He scowled at the mere thought of the curly haired boy's smirk, only to be nearly knocked over by a speeding Perrie.

"Don't you DARE think you can outrun me Zayn!" She laughed and shoved him playfully. Zayn only rolled his eyes and continued to his room, leaving a pout on the girl's face. She perked up seconds later, as if she had remembered something. "So you're gonna ignore me, huh tough guy? Come to think of it, I got two passes yesterday from Dani...I wonder who I should use them with..." Zayn abruptly turned on his heel and faced a smug Perrie.

"Two passes? How to fuck did she get her hands on those?" The blonde pulled out two glossy cards and waved them in front of the dark haired boy's face. "Apparently, one of her customers had the night of his life. So Dani got these as a reward. But she didn't really want them." Zayn's eyes widened in surprise. None of the digits at Zero turned down a pass. One of those little plastics, and you could escape the place for three days. The passes acted as credit cards as well.

"No!" Perrie slapped Zayn's hand away, who growled back at the girl. Pulling her hand back daintily, she tucked the cards back in her pocket. "I'm planning to leave in a month, maybe. You're welcome to come." The dark haired by brightened at her statement and pulled her into a hug. He really needed to get out of Zero, it was messing with his head. The blonde tugged herself away from his embrace and glared directly at him. "IF. You promise not to fight with Harry and have your little hissy fits."

His smile fading, he crossed his arms like a small child and looked away. Even if he did promise Perrie that he wouldn't, they'd end up in an argument one way or another. "You know I can't. He's just..a lost cause. D'you have any idea how he screwed Lou up?" He shuddered at the thought of the long, raised scars on Louis' back. All Zayn could remember was the boy lying unconscious, with Danielle sobbing as she tried to wake him up. The floor had been stained with so much scarlet, it'd hurt his eyes.

Perrie teared up slightly at the memory, but forcefully rubbed them away. "You need to satisfy your end of the deal, Zayn. No pain, no gain. Got it?" The boy huffed loudly and nodded. The blonde broke out into her usual grin, and Zayn couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "So it's settled! I'll be watching, Mr. Malik. Always watching..." As she backed down the corridor, she put up her arm as if she had a cape, and attempted a mysterious getaway, only to trip on her own feet.

"Work on your exit, ya idiot." Zayn smirked at the flustered girl, who was dusting her knees off as she got up. Sticking her nose up in the air, she made a noble, prim exit instead. Once she was out of sight, the dark haired boy continued down the hallway, until he reached his door. '13' Pushing the door open, he made a beeline for the bed, flopping down on it. Sighing contentedly, he surveyed his room. There was a huge flow of customers lately, so he'd barely had time to rest, or even enjoy the little details of his quarters.

The ceiling was navy blue, with constellations and stars criss crossing in luminescent paint. His photos lined the walls on strings, glowing slightly with tiny lightbulbs strung with them. A camera stood alone on the desk, along with a stack of books he hadn't read. Comforted by the familiar surroundings, Zayn yawned and reclined on his bed. It was time to catch some z's, while he still had the chance.
