When I jumped, I jumped alone.

They threw themselves at the mercy of cold desperation.
I waited for a rescue,
But what greeted me wasn't you,
It was a leviathan of hollowness, and neglect.
Distance kept me from jumping sooner.
From jumping for you.
Now you look back and see you jumped too soon.
Now you jump for me.
But, my spring is coiled in another direction.
Not jumping for you.
