(There seems to be some odd stuff going on whenever this chapter is viewed so...)

"You lied to me."

"Love, listen to me. We can work this out," I tried to reassure but was pushed out of the door.

"Don't. I'm done. Don't ever show you face here again." The door slams in my face causing a cold gust of wind to blow on my face. My relationship, with the one I truly loved, ends that night.

Skye's POV

Now a couple of stores away from Xander and Ellie, I faced the one who told me to never show my face to them ever again, my ex- Collin Ray. After agreeing on going to a secluded area where no one goes to, we stood there as he scowls at me with all the hate he could muster, but his eyes said otherwise. His eyes showed longing. Sending me the signal I had little hopes for.

"Collin-" He held his hand up to my face, more like the paper bag, and cut me off with,

"What do you want?" I held my hands up in surrender trying to calm him down. He seemed to have taken the hint and composed himself. Making him a little less angry- even if his angry side was sexy.

It all happened back in Sophomore year. Xander threw me a birthday party, and I enjoyed myself as usual. I had my eyes on one particular couple that night, was Collin and Sandra. They were dating at the time, and was even voted as the sexiest couple. Collin was the quarterback of their school's football team, while Sandra was the head cheer leader captain. The perfect pair.

The couple bicker and I drunkenly made my way over to console her. We made passionate love until dawn. I woke up to find myself in bed with Collin instead. I reflect back on what happened that night and realized that all this time, I wasn't crushing on Sandra, but Collin. For all those times I would secretly tell my friends how much I liked Sandra, it turned out that I rather envied her for having Collin.

After that whole incident, Collin broke up with Sandra, and dated me instead. They were the happiest days of my life- a full two months to be exact. Collin would hang out with me and my bros, while I would always attend his football games. It all worked out. We were best friends and lovers at the same time. He would come over at my place, we'd casually hang out and do whatever was next in the bedroom. We were doing fine. Until, of course, he found out about the whole thing about me liking Sandra. Which wasn't true at all.

"I just wanted to explain," I sighed out and looked at him hopefully. Collin stiffly nods his head letting me continue. Crossing his arms over his chest, he motions for me to continue on.

"I didn't like Sandra. I liked you. Hell, I fucking love you. That time I was confused and didn't know the reason why I was looking at her, was because you were there. Your smile, laugh, even your angry face- Love, I miss it all," I held my hand out to him carefully reaching for his face. My heart aches at the sight of tears forming in his eyes. Ever since our breakup, I've heard of the nasty rumors about him. It was all my fault for hurting him enough to make him go berserk and leave a trail of broken hearts.
