"Madness, as you know, is like gravity. All it takes is a little push." -the Joker, the Dark knight

"Elena?" Robb softly groaned, still sleepy. He had just woken up, his eyes still heavy and his mind still cloudy. When he felt the cold spot beside him though, his eyes snapped wide open.

"Elena!" He yelled, sat up in the bed and searched the tent. He noticed the absence of her bow and arrow, together with her cloak and Gillian's dagger.

"Son of a..." Robb groaned and got up furiously, dressing as fast as he could. He grasped his sword and stormed out of the tent, looking for any sign of his guardian.

Everything was normal in the early morning, everyone was reading for the journey ahead. Soldiers were packing their tents and supplies, women preparing the meals for everyone.

"Steven!" Robb yelled when he saw Steven standing in the midst of the Northern camp. He was dressed in his casual clothing, blue shirt and brown leather pants with light silver armour on.

"Your grace?" Steven frowned when Robb walked towards him furiously. He took some steps back but he was too late. Robb grasped for his neck and helt him up, Steven's feet dangling in the air.

"Where is she?" Robb growled while still holding Steven's neck. He glared at the guardian, knowing that he had to know what happened.

"I don't know." Steven gasped for air, grasping the arm that was holding him instead of reaching for his sword that was hanging on his belt.

"Don't lie to me!" People started to gather around them, watching as their king was practically choking one of the guardians.

"She talked to Louis in the evening." Steve gasped for air. He had heard them talk mentally for that was one of his powers. "They left together."

"She's probably long gone by now." Steven choked, grasping Robb's arm. Yet he didn't try to stop him. "We can't do anything anymore."

Robb let out a furious shout, dropping Steven onto the floor. He ran his hand through his hair in frustration, the fear filling him. Elena was probably in Winterfell, who knew what had happened already.

"And you didn't feel the need to tell me about it?!" Robb glared down at Steven, his hands balled into fists.

"It wouldn't have made any difference." Steven got on his knees, his hands softly rubbing the aching spot on his neck. He looked up at Robb hopelessly, a single stroke of blond hair hanging before his blue eyes. "You know she would've gone no matter what."

Robb took in a deep breath, trying to hold in his anger. He knew that this was what made him vulnerable to the Dark One, especially when everybody was looking.

"Stevie?" Ella ran through the crowd, a stray dog following her. Her light blond hair was in two braids and she had a light pink dress on. She crouched down next to Steve who was still catching his breath.

"It's okay sweetie." Steve sighed and picked her up, holding her tightly against him to make sure she wouldn't fall. He then turned towards Robb, not even mad about what happened earlier. "So what do we do now?"

Robb clenched his jaw, knowing he had no power over Elena's life anymore. But he could get to her as fast as possible.

"We march towards Winterfell, just as planned."

"Here it is." Elena said when they arrived at the door of the secret passage. It was already midnight, they had been flying the whole night and day.
