Intro 1: Peter

My name is Peter Ross and I am in love with my best friend.

I never imagined this would happen. They say that after you have been friends with someone for so long you know too much about them to ever be able to love them. But everything I learn about Kayla just makes me love her more.
We have been best friends since first grade and I always thought of her as like a sister to me. But all that changed last Thursday.

I don't know what it was about that moment. Her playful laugh, her sparkling blue eyes or maybe her chestnut brown hair shining in the sunlight. But nothing has been the same since then. I just can't stop thinking about her.

And maybe in a week or two I'll forget all about it. And maybe then we can go back to our normal friendship. Our fun, crazy, perfect friendship.

But I don't think I will forget.
