" Okay, hold on," I held out my right index finger to Aiden, telling him to be patient. I travelled to the the table that contained a wide variety of different types of alchohol, from red wine to gin. I clasped a bottle of beer, which was cool to the touch. I poured the liquid into a small clear shot glass.
" You're having a shot of beer?" Aiden scoffed, not holding back from laughter.

" This one shot will make me as tipsy as you'd be after a whole beer." I said, and then poured the beverage down my throat, wincing at the taste.
" So not that tipsy at all? I think that's your mindset making you drunk." Aiden raised his eyebrows.

" It's just a warm up, it'll make me more confident." I threw my hand back. He scoffed at me.
" You know what? Fine." I flashed my dark emerald eyes at him. Then I tipped the bottle back, taking a long drag of the beer. As soon as it hit my tongue, I wanted to gag, but I convinced myself to swallow the beverage.

" Want the rest of this?" I said shuddering, holding out the leftover bottle of beer I wasn't going to think twice about drinking again.
" Sure," Aiden took it from me.
" Now that I'm going to be ready for anything soon, what do you have planned?" I rubbed my hands together, glaring at Stiles who was busy chatting with Malia and Scott. Wow, I hadn't even noticed Scott was here.
" I don't know-" He was cut off by the outburst of music that started to sound through the apartment.

  " Perfect," He grimaced.
I was confused as to what was so perfect, but when a group of people started rapidly dancing in the center of the room, I understood Aiden's idea.
" Stiles, dance with me!" Malia shouted, pulling him into the muddle of figures moving in sync to the music.
I should've guessed it, I thought to myself. Malia is a great dancer.
With her long legs and alluring persona, Malia drew the attention of everyone around her as she pulled Stiles close to her, and moved so undeniably captivating.
I pouted now knowing that idea was completely ruined.
Aiden grasped my hand.

" Come on, let's go." He nudged his head toward the herd of dancers.
" C'mon, he'll never take his eyes off of her for some five foot three red head." I exhaled.
" You have to give it a try..." Aiden pointed out.
After moments of considering, I agreed.

We joined the majority of guests, and began to dance. One of my arms was around his shoulder, his left hand on my waist, as we swung and jumped to the fast pace song. It was sweaty, all the hot bodies rubbing up against each other and pumping their fists.

I looked around to see Stiles, a very large distance away from us.
" He can't see us," I told Aiden.
Aiden then immediately started to push through the crowd, pulling me along with him. Finally when we were close enough to Stiles and Malia, we proceeded.

Stiles was directly in front of us now, and soon after his eyes wandered from Malia, and caught us, they were suddenly glued to us. His jealously fueled my happiness, knowing he's feeling what I've had go through ever since Malia captured his view. I noticed from the corner of my eye Stiles retrieving his focus, his gaze back on the brunette, but every so often he let his eyes shoot to Aiden and I, clearly upset.

I loved it, I wanted him to feel more pain, I wanted him to realize he loved me, I wanted him to come over and tangle his fingers in my curls, right before he pulled my face toward his, kissing me. I was clearly having an extreme case of wishful thinking.
Aiden must've saw Stiles too, because he dropped his hands lower, whilst putting me in a tighter embrace. Stiles had definitely eaten the bait.

As the song faded out, and another began, Stiles let go of Malia, and she left. My eyes followed her as she walked into the bathroom.
" He still likes you, I can tell." Aiden murmured into my ear.

Just then Stiles was standing beside us, grinning.
Aiden and I exchanged looks.
" Lyds, wanna dance with me?" Stiles raised his eyebrows, and held out his hand. I stared down at it, it was so surreal.

" Oh, yes, I'd love to." I nodded my head haphazardly, clutching onto his hand. With our hands tightly woven together, I couldn't stop the giant smile that formed on my face. As Stiles took me to a more empty area of the what would you call dance floor, I turned my head, and silently said thank you to Aiden. He gave me a reassuring thumbs up in response.

As Stiles rested his hands on my waistline, I comprehended that the song that was playing was slow. Everyone around me had stopped leaping around, and now just held each other. I hesitantly put my arms around Stiles' neck, and leaned my head on his warm chest. The song was beautiful, I wasn't sure what it was but the lyrics were full of intimacy and passion.

The two of us swayed back and forth, his chin right above my head. We didn't talk until about half way through the song.
" You having a good time tonight?" Stiles said.
I raised my eyes to his, " I guess."
" What did you not like?" He asked me.

" Nothing particularly, I've just not been the most content person recently." I admitted.
" Oh, well I'm sorry Lyds, I know it must be hard." He probably thought the only thing on my mind was Jackson. Although, I couldn't blame him. Anyone would think that. I laid my face back on his chest, and he gently kissed the top of my head.
" Stiles?" I once again raised my head to stare him in the eye.
  " Yeah?" He said.
" Thank you for being such great friend. I'm glad I have you." I gave him a small smile.
" No problem, I'm happy to have you too, Lydia." He gave her a smile back.

When the song ended, we let go of each other and Aiden and Malia circled us.
" Oh sorry, Malia," Stiles apologized.
" No worries, I just came here to return this piece of arm candy back to Lydia. Stiles, you already had your turn, now it's Kira's." Malia spinned around and grabbed hold of another beautiful girl with jet black hair.

" She wasn't alright with us dancing together?" I asked, us all watching Malia and the other girl, Kira.
" It's fine with me," Stiles kept his eyes on the two women.

I glanced up at Stiles, rolling my eyes whilst giggling.
" That girl is something else, isn't she?" Aiden said as Malia started to grind on the dark haired girl.
" Uh-huh," Stiles said barely audible.
