A/N: Well, you've all waited long enough for this haha, so here it is.

XOXO

~Kate~

"Wow."

The house was immaculate and I turned to look at Chase. I hadn't expected him to be a neat freak--not that I minded. I had expected it to be filthy and smelly just like our house had been before I got there. "Pretty good huh? My sister did it for me...er, you, rather."

"Oh," I laughed. That made sense. I'm not saying that neat males didn't exist--they were just far and few between.

"Yeah. She wants to meet you once everything's...settled."

"Right."

Fear crept up my spine again as I thought of Austin returning to find a empty house. He'd follow my scent here however and I feared what would happen when he realized I'd left him. "Hon?"

"Can we look around?" I didn't feel afraid to ask the way I was with Austin.

"Of course," laughed Chase taking my hand. "Lets go."

We looked a roomy dining room and a cozy living room with a huge TV trussed up on the wall. I could only imagine watching my shows on such a wide screen. He showed me the downstairs bathroom/laundry room and the basement, then upstairs where there was one tiny guest room and a monstrous master bedroom. It had two bathrooms, one on either side, and a walk in closet. Another big TV was up here. "And this is the bedroom," muttered Chase, something close to nervousness shining in his eyes.

I put down the bag and climbed tentatively on the bed. It was so soft. Austin's mattress was firm because he claimed it being too cushioned hurt his back. "Mm," I commented, burying my face in one of the cushy pillows. "It's all so soft."

"I like my bed that way," he replied, sitting on the edge of the bed looking at me.

I smiled, feeling a bit silly rolling around in his bed and sat up. "Come here." he said softly and I did so, crawling closer to him.

He captured my mouth in a short but passionate kiss. "I'm so happy," he murmured against my temple. "I finally have everything I could ever ask for."

My face heated in a blush and I looked down at the floor. I couldn't shake the feeling that I didn't deserve such treatment. I wasn't a good mate--Austin told me so. "Why me?" I asked again. "You could have someone younger, prettier...less damaged..."

"You're perfect." he insisted again. "Now kiss me."

Smiling I did so, feeling the heat of the moment grow. My mind went blank for a moment when I thought about having sex with him. While that increased my lust by a tenfold it also increased my fear. I still have a mate... I pulled back a bit and Chase let me go without question. "Am I going to fast?" he asked.

"No...it's just, er," I rubbed my Mark briskly and Chase nodded.

"I understand. Do you want to wait? Until we're married and I've claimed you properly?"

"Married?"

"Sure. Oh, you two never did get married did you? It's just a formality really. Biting someone is marriage but I guess it'd be fun to have the big, fairy tale wedding y'know? Unless you don't want to?"

My mind was already clouding with ideas of we could do. "No," I gasped. "It'd be amazing... I can't believe that you'd do this...for me."

"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you. Now. Which takeout sounds better? Chinese or Thai?"
