A/N: Finally! XD A KHR fanfic! I was really depress lately (Uh.. I think it was always but--- mah), and I thought, 'Hey! I never post any KHR fanfic!'. Yeah, I know it was so slow of me (and so my other stories... ugh--- too many to update but! I will find time to update one by one!). Enjoy this one~

Test Of The Far Away Sky

PROLOGUE

~chu~chu~chu~

"Hime."

The use blank tone of the speaker was only replied by a playful 'Hm~' from the receiver.

Getting the signal to continue, Enverse Lina, states her sudden call.

"Nono-sama needs your presence this evening, Hime."

The one called 'Hime' frown at the order she had just received.

'Does this people know that I can fly half around the world---' she glance at her pocket watch on the little table beside her. '--- in a span of five hours?'

Her silence had gone unnoticed by the other being on the opposite cord and go on.

"The inheritance ceremony for the guardians is finish, Hime."

Now that really caught her full attention.

She suddenly glare impassively in thin space but was immediately replace by a gentle mare when her ever loyal companion, Natsu, sensing her master's change in mood, hurriedly wants to please her by licking her fingers and purring in it's cute worry tone.

Returning the favor, she caress lovingly her pet's furry frame on her lap.

"Hime?"

Ah, she forget to said something.

"I'm busy, Lina. Maybe next time," she coldly said.

Except that--- Lina was totally immune to her mistress's cold treatment.

"Should I prepare your usual preparations, Hime?" Yup, not affected.

A petite young woman, in her early 20's, was blessed with brown luscious hair locks that grows til' her waist line, could only sigh. Her long time acquaintance never really cease to amaze her hardness in emotions.

'I think that's the only reason why I'm still...'

She smiles nostalgically.

"Yes, please," she will let Lina have her way this time.

"Well then, I'll be waiting for your return, Hime. I apologize for disturbing your peace."

This time though, her mistress let out an amuse laugh.

"I'm not dead yet, Lina... I've been just away at the main estate for one year. No need to worry."

Lina visibly flinch but still held her being still. Working with mafia men really groom her to hide emotions but with her mistress she just---- Lina shakes her head. Erasing all thoughts.

"It is a BIG deal, Hime. Please excuse me."

The call end abruptly.

"Gao~"

"It was nothing, Natsu. Go to sleep."

Like the small cub knows what she was saying, it adjust comfortably again on her lap.

The owner return her sight to the serene view in front of her.

Dew grass dancing accordingly with the gentle breeze of spring's season,glowing healthy trees not far and an open view of a crystal clear lake.

Her perfect safe scenery for meditating.

Her only escape route from reality outside this paradise's vicinity.

'So, the time has finally come, huh?'

Thinking back of the people she left behind, she couldn't stop her self from making a mock expression.

'They better show me that it's worth my time.'
