A Psychotic Monster

While all else is cold,
a fever fills him up,
a sickness,
a rage.

This ain't an invasion,
or an infestation,
rather the release,
of the beast, within him.

The beast that rules this mortal,
running in his blood,
urging him to to act,
with aggression and agitation.

He may look a man,
but the monster,
dwells in his heart,
pumping him with malice & sin.

This monster is hypnotic,
giving its host thoughts,
dark, dreary,
and disgusting.

When it first came,
they were of suicide,
now they're more sinister,
like homicide.
