I printed out some of the stories I wrote and made them into little books for her. She underlines every line, sometimes to the point you can't read the words. Then she says "What do you think of that?"
"Sorry, wasn't listening."
Then she'll read a few lines and get really angry with the character or she laughs aloud. I tell her it's just a story, it isn't real.
"Well that's no way to behave and somebody has to tell them."
"Okay, give 'em hell."
