The crumpled letter in my hand,
The feet that won't stand as I watch your body slowly drift out to shore.
The memory I won't escape and the pain that I can't erase,
Are just a faze of a love that I lost to the shore.

I try to tell you I'm sorry
But I'm swept away as I do not matter,
Yet you broke my heart to
And I hear no apology,
No excuse,
I try to call only to find that you have moved on,
It hasn't been long but I knew I will always be a rock to you,
Never a diamond.
I KNOW
I know I'm not perfect,
I know I have to many flaws,
I just didn't expect for you to point them out to.
I thought you loved me,
But clearly you don't,
I thought I had you,
But clearly I didn't.
I guess I have no right to feel this way at all,
As you didn't even look at me or give me a call,
I'm just another mishap or a bump in the road,
But that never stopped you to hurt me this way or even at all.
