This story takes place 354 years before the start of "Diplomatic Tensions" and is set during the earlier days of the Askiyan Empire. At this time, the war of conquest had not yet been launched so the empire only controls a large portion of the west in the Great Continent and not the entire continent as in "Diplomatic Tensions"
The use of POV (Point of View) chapters to narrate the story is still in place, so it is structured in the exact same way as the main story. Other than that, other things worth mentioning is that this story will run simultaneously alongside the main story and events that occur in "Zola" will be referenced in "Diplomatic Tensions" as historical events.
