Michael's pov

It was two days later and I was still having those dreams.

But it was different this time.

It would be the same dream but it would end differently each time.

I rolled over and looked at the clock.

5:14 a.m.

I sighed.

I was so tired but I couldn't sleep.

Every time I have one of these dreams, I wake up and don't fall asleep for another hour.

I groaned and rolled the other way so I wasn't facing the clock.

I closed my eyes and laid there, hoping to fall asleep.

The next morning sucked.

I woke up still way tired and my head hurt.

Maegan was already awake and I could smell breakfast cooking downstairs.

I got out of bed and stretched.

I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a shirt then headed to the bathroom to wash up and take some medicine.

After I was done, I walked downstairs.

"Good morning sunshine" I said, walking up and kissing Maegan.

"Morning babe. Your coffee is on the counter," she said, taking the pancakes off the stove.

"Mmm, thanks babe," I said, grabbing my coffee and taking small sips of it.

"How'd you sleep last night?" she asked, setting the table.

"Eh, I'm still really tired."

"Another nightmare?"

I just nodded my head.

She signed.

"Honestly Michael, I wish you would tell me what happened. I'm worried about you," she said, looking at my with eyes full of worry.

"It's fine," I lied, setting my mug down on the counter and walking over to her.

"If it was anything bad, I would tell you," I lied, giving her a kiss.

"Mmmk," she sighed.

"Alright," I said, smiling and giving her a kiss.
She smiled back at me and set our plates on the table.

We sat down and ate, talking about stuff for the baby.

It was later in the day and I was really bored.

Maegan and I were laying in bed.

Maegan was reading and I was just laying there, bored.

I sighed.

Maegan looked up from her book.

"What is it kitten?" she asked.

"I'm bored," I sighed.

She laughed slightly.

"Then find something to do," she said, going back to reading again.

I sighed again and looked at her.

When she didn't look up, I sighed again.

And again.

And again.

Finally she looked up.

"What is it Michael?" she sighed, setting her book down.

"Like I said, I'm bored," I said, rolling over and laying next to her.

She shook her head.

"Find something to do."

"Can I dye my hair?" I asked out of nowhere.

Maegan just looked at me.

I have her a look like 'well, can I?"

"What color?" she asked.

I thought about it for a moment.

"Black," I said, after a few seconds.

She made a face like 'really?'

I pouted.

"Please," I begged, holding out the e.

She just laughed.

"It's not my hair. It up to you, just know, it gets addicting," she said, going back to reading her book.

I cheered and rolled over, accidentally falling off the bed.

I heard Maegan laugh.

"Are you ok?" she laughed, looking over the side of the bed.

I just nodded my head and laid on the floor.

Maegan and I were at the store buying things so she could dye my hair.

I walked around the store with wide eyes.

I've only been to the store about three other times, so I was still fascinated with the things I saw.

Finally we stopped in the beauty aisle.

"Ok," Maegan said, looking at the shelves.

She mumbled things to herself as she looked at the boxes of hair dye.

She grabbed two boxes of black hair dye, a box of gloves, and -from another aisle- tin foil.

After we grabbed a few other necessities, we proceeded to the checkout.

Once we pulled up to our house, I grabbed the bag with the hair stuff and ran inside.

I ran inside to the bathroom and set everything up then sat on the toilet and waited for Maegan.

A few minutes later, she walked into the bathroom with a towel and the tin foil.

"Thanks fo the help with the other groceries," she said sarcastically.

I just smiled and watched her as she got the stuff ready.

"Woah," I said as I looked in the mirror.

Maegan just laughed and watched me check out my newly dyed hair.

"Can I take a picture?" I asked excitedly, turning around to look at her.

"Sure," she laughed, handing me her phone.

I took a picture and handed her phone back to her.

For about another hour, I sat in front of the mirror, playing with my hair till Maegan called me down for dinner.

"Michael, it's dinner time!"

"Coming!" I said, getting up and going downstairs.

We sat down at the table and ate our, talking about stuff for the baby and names.

After dinner, Maegan and I took a shower then got ready for bed.

Once we got our underwear on, we laid in bed and cuddled for a while.

"Goodnight," she said, turning off the lamp.

"Goodnight," I said, cuddling closer and slowly drifting off into a nightmare.
