A SONG YOU WISH TO PLAY

Love is blind, they say,
For the truth it fails to relay.
Without knowing whom, your heart beats,
With one person, your mind flees.

Falling for it is a trap,
'Cause you can't stop it with a snap.
You might end with up with wounds,
Who cares, the feeling is wonderful.

I love you and I love you too,
Words like a song you can play all day.
Then suddenly out of the blue,
The music stops, your heart's been slayed.

Love is patient, they say,
For it is willing to wait, someone who won't even stay.
Without knowing when, heart assumes,
With every time of day, memories resumes.

Waiting for it, you feel like dying,
'Cause your heart stops everytime you're crying.
You might find your happiness, anyway,
And that is all that matters at the end of the day.

I love you and I love you too,
Words like a song you wish to be played all day,
Wish to hear under the sky so blue,
Hence, everyday you kneel and pray.
