its been a year, and my heart was numb.
i started working at the diner we talked at. hoping it would help my loneliness.
the customers were friendly, and even once i met one of your old band mates, they didn't know your location either.
all they knew is that they would get random post cards of cities you'd visit.
what was their name again? oh right, luke. i hope he saw you and told you I said hello.
the photos from our night are now smudged and water stained, the pictures fading from the long nights full of tears.
please don't let our love fade like the printed polaroid ink.
