Rose

I ate something while I was looking out of the window. I still couldn't believe it, Justin would go away with killers. I walked back into my room and saw Justin in there.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly.

"I want to talk to you."

"No!" I sat down on my bed and glared at my cousin.

"Rose..." He started but I just shook my head.

"Get out!" And he did, luckily. I just didn't want to believe it. He would leave me alone. All four would be with him. But I still was scared that one of them would came and kill me during that time.

I woke up, out of my dreamless sleep and looked around. I was a hundred percent sure that I heard something. I sat up and turned on the little lamp on my nightstand and looked around once more. Now one was here. I yawned and ran through my hair with my hands. I turned the light off and got up. The light would only blind me. And so I made my way downstairs into the kitchen to get a glass of water. My gaze fell on the clock, 3 o'clock. Another yawn escaped my mouth as I stumbled back into my room.

As I was halfway there I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, which made me jump. I looked around in panic but couldn't see anyone.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" I asked quietly through the hallway. No answer. My imagination must've ran wild.

I started walking again and felt now, how a hand touched my arm. I turned around but again, no one. I could feel how fear was building up in my body which made me walk faster. I almost reached my room as I thought that I heard a noise again.

I looked around. I started to think that I was getting insane. I walked into my room and hid under my covers. What was going on? I closed my eyes as a attempt to fall back to sleep. But I couldn't. Adrenaline was pumping through my body. I started to shake and my breathing got faster. I quickly opened my eyes again and took a deep breath.

No one was here. I tried to calm myself but I couldn't stop thinking that someone was in my room. Maybe the curly head. I had the feeling he was the leader. Or the blonde one. Who I had seen with Calum. He wanted to kill me right away. I should've been dead now.

Why did Calum not kill me that night. He had seen me. He could've ended it.

I would be with my parents together in heaven. I wouldn't be alone. And I wouldn't be living in fear.

"Hello?" I asked again and got up. I turned on the lights. Shortly I had the feeling that I saw black hair. But then I thought I was just seeing things. I walked a little around the room but didn't found anyone. I sat back on my bed, took my phone and grabbed my headphones. Blocking everything out.

*

My eyes opened slowly and I was laying in my bed, cuddled in my blanket. My phone was laying on my nightstand.

When did I fall asleep? And since when was I laying in bed?

I weren't seeing things. Someone had been in my room.

I sat up and stretched. Slowly, I walked to my wardrobe and took out some sweatpants along with an old shirt. I tried to fix my hair with my hands as I looked around my room again.

Who was here yesterday?

I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth and walked down into the kitchen. I took two cooked eggs the housemaid made and went back to my room. The memories of last night were running through my head.

Who the fuck was here yesterday?!

*

I dived under the water to get all of my hair wet. I tried to get my hair out of my face as I swam a little more through the large pool to calm down. Although my thoughts wouldn't stop or at least calm down. The water was a little chilly but I didn't care. I was alone in here as well. The only thing I heard were the water drops dripping down the edge of the pool.

"I never thought that I'd meet you here..." Justin said, from the other end of the big room.

"I needed time for myself." I said as I climbed out of the pool. "You still won't tell me what you're going to do next week?"

"It's nothing Rose...."

"Nothing with killers. Yeah that sounds normal..." I spat and looked at him.

"I can't tell you. I'm sorry. But please don't do anything stupid."

"What do you mean?"

"Like...to go outside by yourself...."

"I thought these four guys will be with you."

"They come but I'm still scared that something could happen to you.." I gave him a small nod and jumped back in the water.

"Jus, none of the guys have a key to this house, do they?"

"No, they don't." But who was my guest yesterday night then? "I have to go."

"I thought they pick you up at midnight..."

"Look at the clock!" Jus said laughing as he left. I frowned and looked at the clock. It was almost midnight. I swam a little more before I climbed out again. I took a towel and wrapped it around me.

I walked back into my room and took a shower. As I finished, I immediately got dressed. You never know. And after last night I was even more scared. I climbed under my covers and was about to fall asleep. But then I heard a noise and my eyes shot open as I looked around.

"Who's there?" I asked into the room. But no answer. I waited and there was a noise again. I got up and walked to the direction where the noise came from. My heart started beating faster with every step and I had the feeling like someone was breathing down my neck.

"Who are you?" I asked quietly but he didn't answer. A hand took mine and let go again.

And then everything got cold.
