Love me better

His eyes met hers as she openly looked at him
But it wasn't long before he noticed she did that with everyone else

Her glare wondered shamelessly around a train full of strangers, spreading a moment of impossible self love to one, before moving on to the next
It was cruel and yet incredibly generous at the same time
Feeding a stranger with hopes of being love in a train in the middle of the night
It was an undoubtedly noble way to change the world

He thought he was going mad, thinking so much of a girl's innocent glance, but then he saw how she made the homeless man smile and played with a mother's child and how suddenly that depressing train became so full of light

But then you find yourself watching her, watching them
And you wonder how only if she had watched you a second longer, than you would have known you were somehow different
And you would have looked at her like it was your little secret, and you would have known, right there and then:
She loved everyone
But she loved you better
