Rosalyn's eyes fluttered open and she was surrounded by black, just black everywhere, then little blue twinkles started appearing around her, she was sure she'd be able to touch them if she reached out her hand but she couldn't, she looked down to see what she was walking on, and realized she wasn't standing on anything.

This must be a dream She thought, she loved dreams, one of her favorite songs was about dreaming, though it was also a song about love, but Rosalyn had to admit 'she was a sucker for a good romance'.

So Rosalyn started humming her favorite song about dreaming.

I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream

Rosalyn started to spin around.

I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam

Rosalyn loved spinning.

And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem

There was only one down-side to spinning around in circles that Rosalyn did not like.

But if I know you, I know what you'll do

She would always fall down afterwards, but maybe not in a dream.

Rosalyn stopped spinning, she had decided to sing the last part not humm it, and sadly she could not spin and sing at the same time; if she wanted to sound good, that is.

She opened her mouth to sing the last part, but an electric higher pitched male's voice beat her to it.

"You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream."

Rosalyn looked around curiously, at first she did see anyone, then she turned, looked back the way she had been, and saw an oddly dressed man.

(Cue long description)
He wore a black suit that was tinted blue and a blue tail coat, he wore a black bow tie, and two white gloves with blue infinity signs on the back of both them and they seemed to glow, his hair was black but it too—like his suit—was tinted blue, His blue eye that wasn't covered my his black hair was blue and seemed to glow just like the infinity signs on his gloves, and he had pale skin, not a sickly pale though, he looked quite healthy.

Who wears formal clothing like that anymore?

"Why hello, little dear." The man in blue said.

"Who are you?" Rosalyn asked.

"Nah, ah uh! Weren't you ever taught proper manners? It is impolite to ask someone for their name, unless you first intend to give your name as well." The blue man said.

"Uh... sorry." Rosalyn said. Why is he wearing a tail coat? No one wears clothes like that anymore... and this guy must be some sort of gentleman if he knows proper manners....

"For one; I think my choice in attire is fantastical!" The blue man exclaimed proudly, "and secondly for your information, I am always a gentleman, little dear.".

"D-did you just r-read-."

"Your mind?" The blue man asked, "yes I did indeed, read your mind." He smirked, "quite easily too, you didn't even try to keep me from it.".

"No one would be able to keep someone from reading their-."

"Truthfully, there are quite a lot of people who can, but a vary negligible amount of humans who can travel here." The blue man said, motioning around them both.

"Where is here?" Rosalyn asked.

"Here, is the Dream Empire." The blue man grinned at her.

"Oh, cool." Rosalyn smiled, looking around at the start place.

"So, sense you are obviously not going to inform me your name first." The blue man said, "I'm the Dream Keeper, and what, if I may pry; is your name?" He bowed to her in a vary gentleman-like way, he had grabbed her hand, and kissed the back of it as well, this had made Rosalyn blush a slight pink color.

"U-uh... my name is Rosalyn Polaris, but please just call me Rose." Rose informed.

"A vary beautiful name, fitting for an even more beautiful young lady." The Dream Keeper complimented.

"Hehe, thank you." Rose giggled slightly, obviously a bit flustered.

"I'm sorry little dear." The dream keeper frowned, "I must inform you that you have been asleep for a while, and you may wake up and find out things you will not be pleased with." The dream keeper took a breath that sounded like a sigh, as if he had not wanted to say any of what he just had, "but! I will always be with you as you sleep, you can always come to me, little Rose." He said, he smiled slightly at her.

Rosalyn wasn't sure what to think of the strange blue mans words, but she smiled back, "am I waking up?" She asked.

The Dream Keeper walked up to her, "you will, good bye, my Little Rose." He kissed her forehead, making her blush again, she could tell she was waking up by the scene around her fading.

"Good bye, Dream Keeper."
