Taylor,
I ran.
I ran till I lost my breath .
I ran till my legs couldn't take me any further.
With bloodshot eyes, I enter the auditorium .
I sit there, thinking about you .
Thinking if you are really worth it .
I hear footsteps .
I start panicking as, if it was a teacher, I would be in trouble .
Then I realized, that I don't really care about them.
I sit there and wait,
Under the illusion that you may come and apologize and we could fall in love .
You didn't come .
Instead I see someone with blonde hair, sea- green eyes and a cute smile .
It wasn't you, it was your best friend, James.
He came up to me .
Looked me into my eyes, gave me a kiss on my forehead and a big tight hug .
I break down in his arms.
I was in a dilemma.
I never knew that anyone ever knew me in this school except the teachers .
I was sort of invisible.
HE apologized for what YOU did, darling.
He told me that you did not deserve someone like me .
This made me smile .
We sit there hugging .
He said that it was time to leave .
He told me to meet up sometime and he bid me adieu .
I realized that I found myself a friend who cares.
Maybe Taylor wasn't the guy .
Maybe he was .
Maybe it shall always be a maybe .
