Chapter 23

  Raven P.O.V
I woke up in Lira arms and I saw we were both naked so I slowly got out of bed and I saw she had several robs so I grabbed one and walked down stairs. I was in the kitchen and I saw the time and it was 6pm so I decided to make up some dinner
"You got a hickey" I heard Carter says I quickly turn around
"How long have you been here?" I asked
"We have been here that whole time but when we heard the moaning we went and got something for dinner" Drake said and I just blushed
"Does this mean you're back together and staying together?" Carter said
"I hope so" I said all of a sudden we hear what sounds like crying up stairs so I take off running to Lira room and I see she the one crying so I rush over and comfort her
"Shh what's wrong baby?" I asked as I held her and rocked her back and fourth
"I –I-I-I-I thought I l-l-los-s-s-t you again" she said
"You won't lost me, you accepted that I am in danger and I love you or that and if you accept that then you will never leave you" I said
"Promise?" she asked and looked me straight in the eye
"Promise" I said and gave her a kiss on the lips, she tried to deepen it but I pulled away and she pouted
"This afternoon was amazing but Drake and Carter are down stairs with dinner" I said and she went bright read
"Did they hear?" she asked and I nodded
"Oh by the way thanks for the hickey" I said
"Marking what's mine" she said and got out and got dressed since I was just in a rob I got dressed and we walked hand and hand down that stairs
"They are alive not let's eat" Carter yelled

Things with Lira is good I keep getting threats that he will see me soon but I don't believe them anymore, Drake and Carter disappeared in the middle of school and Lira is having bad allergies so she stayed home. There one week tell graduation and I am excited because then Lira and I can be a real couple after a couple months without worry and today is my birthday and I am spending alone. The day ended and I went home and it was dark because I went for a little drive and so when I entered my house and turned on my light it wouldn't come on. I walked into the kitchen where I saw what looked like glowing so I walked slowly made my way into the kitchen
"SURPRISE" they yelled and I saw my mom I ran over and hugged her
"Happy birthday honey" my mom said
"Thank you mom" I said
"Baby" I heard Lira say so I turned and saw her and she was down on one knee
"Lira what are you doing" I asked
"When we met I knew you were the one and ever since when I wasn't with you I would feel real lonely, and just the thought of the girl having you gets my blood boiling and I will do with what I can to protect you with all my life, I asked your mom permission and she loves it I was wondering if you do the honor of making me the happiest women in the world by being my wife?" she asked and pulled out a ring.
"Yes I would love to" I said and she got up and put the ring on my figure and gave me a kiss just then Lira and I got frosting on our face we both turned and we saw Carter and Drake bolting we just laughed at that.
"Honey can I talk to you alone?" my mom asked I just nodded and we went outside and sat on the chairs
"What you want to talk about?" I asked
"Well I don't know what will happen with him but all I know is I love you very much and I want you to take this number and if anything happens to me call this number and ask for Mitchel he knows our situation and is willing to help. And you must do as he says no matter what please" she said
"AWWW isn't that so sweet mother daughter moment to bad I got to ruin it" a guy said my mom and I shot up and we both saw him standing not 100 yards from us
"Get the hell out of here" my mom hissed and got in front of me protectively
"I have every right to wish her a happy birthday" he said with a smirk
"No you don't now leave or I will call the cops" I hissed
"Now now is that anyway to treat your father" he said and pulled out a gun and shot my mom 2 and then he took off. I put prusher on both her wounds and Lira, Carter and Drake came running out.
"What happen we heard gun shots" Lira said and looked and saw me crying and told them to call the abulence. I went with my mom in the abulence and went to the hospital. Lira and everyone met up and when I saw Lira I ran into her arms
"Shh it ok, who shot her" she asked
"He did that bastard killed her" I growled while crying
"Who is he?" she asked
"My sperm dounor" I said just then the doctor came out
"Raven?" he called and I went over to him
"That me?" I said
"I am so sorry but your mother died during surgery" he said and I just fell to the ground crying Lira came and kept me company rocking me rubbing cricles on my back. This is the worst birthday I can ever have.
