Lauren found Normani on one of the couches, sitting with her legs crossed and looking entirely unimpressed with the party as she sipped her champagne. She was easily the most gorgeous person at the party, with her immaculate makeup, shiny hair straight and falling over shoulders, and her dress showing off just the right amount of cleavage. Lauren might have taken a little longer to admire the view if she wasn't a taken woman. And if it wasn't, well, Normani. Instead she walked up behind her and leaned right next to her ear."Hey babe, are you a parking ticket?" she said in a deep voice and when Normani turned around in surprise she plastered on a goofy smile.
"Really?" Normani said, sounding unimpressed but still cracking a grin behind plum-red lips.
"Hey, hey, let me finish," Lauren laughed as she sat next to her, then cleared her throat and resumed her comically low voice. "Cause you've got fine written all over you."
Normani's long eyelashes fluttered as she rolled her eyes and she shook her head at Lauren's lame and slightly drunken attempt at flirting.
"What, you're not swooning over me yet?"
"I haven't had nearly enough champagne for that," Normani quipped and Lauren chuckled with her.
"Speaking of champagne, you know that people can see you drinking that right?" Lauren asked, kind of worried that she was so nonchalant about drinking in the open. "Taking after my rebel streak?"
"Not quite, I didn't even have to steal this one. It was actually given to me."
"What? They're not carding or anything?"
"Nope, the waiters are more than happy to give it away. Look here comes one now." Normani waved over a young man in a gold vest and he offered his tray of champagne flutes with a bright smile.
"Well jeez, if I had known that I wouldn't have chugged two glasses behind the potted plant," Lauren said as she sat up. The waiter's smile faltered and he looked a little worried. "Not that I... had to do that...," she continued cautiously as she reached for a glass, plucking one up before the waiter changed his mind. "Thanks," she added with a saccharine grin as he walked away with a shake of his head.
"Smooth," Normani teased her, and Lauren blushed a little. Something red caught her eye and she looked up just in time to see Camila approaching their couch holding a flute of champagne and, surprisingly, her own purse. Lauren hadn't even realized it was gone.
"I borrowed some lip gloss, I hope you don't mind," Camila said as she set Lauren's purse next to her, meeting her eyes briefly and giving her a wink. She greeted Normani and Lauren tried to keep her raging desire off of her face when she saw Camila's plump and newly glossy lips but she knew she was probably losing the battle. Camila quickly left to go talk to some tall blonde woman and Lauren watched her walk away, her eyes glued to her ass as usual.
"She's looking hot tonight," Normani commented appreciatively and Lauren murmured an agreement, barely listening to her. She still couldn't take her eyes off of her girlfriend who was entertaining the crowd gathered around her with a bright smile, much more confident than she had started off the party. She looked even more beautiful, if that was possible.
Lauren opened her purse to check the time, wondering if it was late enough to stop tormenting Camila and take her back to the hotel room, but as she reaching her hand inside she was met with a damp material. Puzzled, she peered inside and found Camila's white lacy panties between her fingers, still warm and absolutely soaked through. She nearly groaned at the sight and her eyes shot back to Camila who was watching her now, her eyes dark with desire and dancing with amusement at Lauren's expression.
