Romeo found Wendy at a table with Carla and Happy accompanying her.

"Please take my fish, Carla!" Happy pleaded while grinning, holding a fish in his paws. All he wanted was for Carla to finally realize his love for her.

"I will certainly not take that fish male cat," Carla replied, crossing her arms as she turned her back so that she was now facing away from Happy.

"Carla, don't be so mean!" Wendy exclaimed.

"Hmph." Carla still didn't listen and kept her back turned. Guess she's playing hard to get, better luck next time Happy.

Romeo walked up to Wendy and said, "hey Wendy."

"Hello Romeo. Are you excited for tomorrow?" She asked with a sweet smile that made him feel all bubbly inside. She turned her attention towards him instead of on Carla and Happy.

Romeo had a slight flush dusted upon his cheeks as he responded with a slight sarcastic tone, "yeah, I guess you could say that." He paused for a few seconds before asking, "did you talk to Natsu and the others on what we're doing?"

"Yep! This plan should work out better than the GrUvia one. And especially the NaLu plan if all goes well."

At that remark, they remembered both of the kisses they've had. Each of them sported a deep blush and quickly glanced at each others lips, but looked away before either of them could notice that they were doing the same thing.

"Oh jeez, I hope he didn't notice that I just did that. What's wrong with me? Oh right, I'm in love with my best friend. Duh, how could I forget." She was having an unwanted battle with her thoughts and Romeo was also having those same thoughts.

"Okay Wendy, it's time to leave so say goodbye to your boyfriend." Carla smiled as she started to walk away from Romeo, Wendy, and Happy.

"Not you too Carla!" Wendy pouted and chased Carla, getting frustrated because of everyone accusing her that Romeo and her are dating. She really wanted to date Romeo, but couldn't actually tell if her felt the same way.

Once Wendy and Carla were out of their sight, Happy did his signature catch phrase, "she liiiikkkkeeeessss you!"

Romeo sighed, "shut up, Happy."

It was the next day, the day where GaLe was finally going to become cannon. Hopefully. And maybe something else. It was now 8:35. Romeo, Wendy, and Gajeel were waiting for Levy at the entrance of the corn maze. Every minute, Gajeel grew even more impatient, ready to leave if she didn't show up in the next minute.

"Where's Shrimp? Shouldn't she already be here by now?"

"Be patient, we're sure she's coming."

Gajeel was the total opposite of patient, he was tapping his foot on the ground with his arms crossed, looking even more annoyed than usual. About 20 seconds later, Levy could be seen coming closer, sprinting up to the three. It was probably the fastest any of them have seen her run and Gajeel was a little impressed that a shrimp that small could run that fast.
