Cody scented other wolves around but knew they were her pack. Okay here we are, she says. It looks amazing, he says while looking at the large cave on the hill. He thought of his "den" which was a small, makeshift den inside a hollowed out tree.
She lead him to the top of the hill where the other wolves sat. A white and golden female with a young black pup walked slowly out of the cave. That must be Halo and her pup, Lyric, he thought remembering that Halo was the leaders mate. What is that rogue doing in our pack?, Halo asked angerly as she pulled her pup closer to her. A large grey male wolf padded up to them. Who are you?, he asked boldly. Midnight stepped in front of him. He's going to join the pack, she answered bravely.
He dipped his head. Very well then, Midnight. Make sure you show him around the territory and introduce him to everyone. What's your name anyways?, he said. Midnight nodded. My name is Cody, he answered. Welcome to our pack Cody. I'm your new leader, Jasper., he said in greeting.
