Waiting Love

In the light of a clear blue sky;
The people waited there for them to come back home,
And when the heroes came home to their families,
One girl was still left there, waiting near the fire,
For her love, to come back home

And when the fire burns she'll wait right there,
She was always taught true love would provail...
So she'll wait right there, 'till the daylight's gone;
Until her love comes home, to her waiting arms

In the dark of a deep blue night;
The girl waited there for him to come back home.
And when the girl started to lose her hope,
She remembered he said he would always come,
And she trusted in his words

So when the fire's gone she'll still be there,
Because she knows that true love will provail...
So she'll wait right there, 'till the daylight comes
But her love won't come, to her waiting arms,

In the fields where the battle raged,
Her lost love lay there on the now calm field,
And when his body came back in a wood'n chest,
The girl said goodbye to him, lost in hurt,
But she moved on, untill the end.

So when the fire burns they'll be right there,
But she always knew that true love would provail...
So they'll be together when the daylight comes,
And they'll stay right there, in a meadow green,
And they'll be together forever more,

So no more waiting till the daylight's gone,
No more standing out there in the cold,
Just two white stones in the light of dawn,
And a trace of two hearts of gold

The verses are kind of slow, but when you get to the chorus it goes fast. The bridge, 'So no more waiting til the daylight's gone' would be slow, and simple.
