[Includes self harm and suicide attempt references, also references to marijuana use in the bridge, you've been warned.]

[Verse 1]

To her mom and dad, I bet you're so proud, of the daughter who keeps trying to cut her wrists out

Thinking maybe she'll get lucky and just bleed out one of these times, She thinks about a lot of dark shit when she cries

Like how the bitterness of the tears stained to her cheeks makes her look like a mess and it makes her feel weak

Like the chicken crossing the road, who got hit by a bus that hydroplaned over some icy snow

Sometimes she feels like shrodinger's cat, just waiting to get outta that box before she dies from the way she cries

But apparently you don't give a shit that sometimes your daughter wants to just end it

If you cared you would be a bit nicer, you'd be there instead of leaving her crying in the corner

[Chorus:]
When she cries it looks just like rain (down her pretty face)
When she cries she's hiding from the world (no, don't cry baby girl)
Why can't you see it's all your fault?
(Better believe it, why can't you see it?)
It's hard to find her place in this world
(She hasn't seen it, why do you do this?)

[Verse 2:]

Oh shit, wait, she's back to schrodinger, I've gotta help her, you're not a leader, She's a fighter, fighting to survive this fucked up life she's already over this and partially onto the brighter side

You're sad excuses for parents, soon she'll be out paying her own rent

It's a disgrace really, that you couldn't love her the right way
So done with playing games soon she'll be hitting the racetrack doing 90

And she won't be writing back she'll keep writing raps about how much you fucked up her life you can say she's lying as much as you want, it wont change her cries for help.

[Bridge:]
In a way she found relief, inhale, THC and exhale all her anxiety, there's other ways, but there's some things in her life she can't change, she wants to change a little bit, What did she ever do to deserve this from you?

You can't hide from the truth for very long, very much longer, it isn't right everything that you've done to her, physically, mentally, can't you see there's something wrong? Maybe you will whenever you hear this song

'Til then she's cryin', she's slowly dyin' but for the life of you or her all you do is make her pain worse maybe when she's in a hearse you'll feel guilty, thinkin' "Why did this happen to me?"

Your ignorance isn't bliss for her it's the opposite, that's why she wrote this, so maybe you could see her pain, it's right in front of you can't you get it through your thick skull? No, if you did those tears would never fall, for her it rains every single day and not in a good way, she's waiting to hit the highway, and play pretend that you never existed

[A/N I personally haven't self harmed or committed suicide in over a year (about 13-14 months) I was just feeling some pretty dark shit when I wrote this and was going through a hard time, but I'm better now for the most part :) ]
