Right now I am on a plane heading to California. Apparently mom and dad had some really close friends out there. Ever since the crash that took my parents lives things haven't been the same. I live in a small town were news spreads fast. So everywhere I go all I see is the pity in people eyes. I guess I'm happy to be leaving. You know a fresh start. But I'm also sad because moving means leaving the house that I've lived in for 17 years. But there's no going back now. Which explains why I'm on this plane going to who knows where in California.

Finally the plane has landed, I really need to stretch my legs. As I walk out of the airport I see a man holding a sign with my name on it. I slowly approach him. He sees me walking over and asks," are you miss Miller?"
I replied with a shaky yes. He escorts me to a limo and grabs my bags for me. Then we were off to my new home.
