burns like a fire,
the flames of it
go higher and higher,
our love is real
no room for doubt,
no letting go
no opting out.
We can make it
all the way,
we'll just keep trying
every day,
although sometimes our
path is rough,
being so far apart
is very tough.
We can do this
I know we can,
just never let go
of my hand,
we can make it
though any storm,
in your arms I'm
safe and warm.
We have what it takes
to make it through,
the love is so strong
between me and you,
in close proximity
or far apart,
you will always
have my heart.
