Lucy and I were sitting on the school field, discussing what had happened on the previous few days with Lucy.

"And look, he's just floating in the air!" Lucy exclaimed as she showed me pictures she had taken on her phone. Without a doubt it was Kudo that was following her.

"Have you told anyone else about this?" I asked her, examining the photos again.

"No, I don't want to be locked up in a mental institution." She replied. "But I know I can trust you."

"Oh, I know!" I said, waving my hand in the air flatteringly.

"So...what should I do?" She asked, putting her phone away.

"Try not to be by yourself, he's not floating around here right now because there are people. Maybe he's targeting you when you're alone." I suggested, pulling my water bottle from my bag.

"What about when I'm walking home?" She asked. "Or when my parents work late?"

"Then I'll be with you in those time. Don't worry, Lucy, I've got you covered." I reassured her. She smiled and gave me a huge hug before the bell rung.

"YUS! P.E!!" She cheered quickly packing up her things. "Can I meet you by the front gate?"

"Well, I actually have work after school..." I trailed off, glancing at the look of betrayal that was beginning to flicker in her eyes. "But I'm sure ten minutes won't hurt."

"Yay! Thank you, Jess!" She squealed before heading to the gym.

I pulled my phone out and quickly texted Elliot, warning him I was going to be late on a Monday since today is the 'Mad Monday Rush!' as we all call it since its packed with school kids and adults in the afternoon.

Jayden never really allowed me to have contact outside of home, which included letters and texting, until I hit my teenage years when I begged him to let me start living a more sociable life, that's when I meet Lucy and the girls, and started working at the café.

I made my way to my study class and the domain block seemed to be empty, which is strange because the domain is usually the place where everyone walks through to get to their class. I looked up at the huge clock that was sitting on top of the office/staff building and it read 12:55pm, which is the time the bell usually rings. But didn't the bell ring 2 minutes ago? Shouldn't the clock say 12:57pm?

"That's weird." I mumbled to myself. I looked around and saw someone, a female, with their back turned to me and standing in front of a classroom door that lead to the art rooms. It was obvious to see that it was one of the school students because she had her uniform on and a folder on her hands with a school bag swinging off of her arm.

"Excuse me?" I asked as I made my way over to her. She didn't respond or move and I was soon starting to wonder if something was actually happening.

"Hello?" I called as I waved my hand in front of their face. All she did was stare blankly at the door and didn't move a single muscle. I decided to go and investigate around the school, just to see if anyone else was like this, and they were.

Teachers were frozen, mid-walking and students were frozen, laughing and gossiping with their friends while they waited for their classes to start.

Without a doubt this either had to be a predisite or a Nighlok. I dialed Jayden's number on my phone and pressed it against my ear, hearing it ring a few times before someone answered.

"Hello?" Jayden answered.

"Jayden! Its me!" I said. "Has the GAP sensor gone off today?"

"Jess? Why are you calling? What's going on?" He asked.
