Your POV

I've been having weird thoughts lately. Are they real? Or not? I found myself falling into the ocean, then free falling through the sky. As I fell, I saw the shallow ocean below. I splashed into the water, but it was deeper than expected. I stood up and saw Sora, standing in the water. He turned and reached out to me. I ran towards him and saw a wave approaching. It swallowed him and sent me flying back.

You're giving me too many things.
Lately, you're all I need.
You smiled at me, and said:

"Don't get me wrong, I love you. But does that mean I have to meet your father?"
When we're older, you'll understand what I meant when I said,
"No, I don't think life is quite that simple."

I awoke to find myself on the beach of Destiny Islands. The light blue water showed no sign that Sora, or a wave, had been there. I jumped when I saw Kairi standing above me. "Help with the raft!" She smiled. "We need coconuts, mushrooms, cloth, a seagull egg..." She droned on for so long I zoned out.

Instead of following Kairi's orders, I sat on the beach watching Chloe laugh at Riku get pushed off the island's ledge by Sora. He grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her down. I saw Kairi sitting on the raft, stringing a dried poupo fruit. You smiled as Sora was dragged down.

The daily things that keep us busy are confusing me.
That's when you came to me and said:

"Wish I could prove I love you, but does that mean I have to walk on water?"
When we are older, you'll understand it's enough when I say no.
And maybe some things are that simple.

Kairi continued her Poupo, Sora fought to get away from Chloe and Riku, and I fell into another deep slumber.

I was falling. The waves below be were deep, the dark waves splashing against the shores of Destiny Islands. The sun was setting. I fell closer and closer to the ocean. I landed in the water, being thrown this way and that, just waiting to be thrown into another universe.

Hold me.
Whatever lies beyond this morning is a little later on.
Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all.
Nothing's like before.

Just like before, I was jolted awake, this time by Riku. He helped me to my feet and I looked out over the sun setting over the aquamarine ocean.

The lavender, pink, turquoise, orange, and yellow hues of the sky ebbed together, forming some kind of dusk. The stars began creeping out, few by few. Tiny winged creatured appeared, like an excited crowd of fans just waiting to see the stars. Wad this another dream?

Hold me.
Whatever lies beyond this morning is a little later on.
Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all.
