Chapter 29
Lean POV
Naglakad ako papasok ng Fuentelord Hotel, I wore a dark blue dress that emphasized elegance, napapatingin ang mga tao sa akin habang ako'y naglalakad papuntang restaurant ng hotel.
Upon entering the hotel's restaurant, hinanap ng mga mata ko ang pamilya ko at ni Gian but much to my dismay, they were nowhere to be found. I checked the time on my phone, "are they late?" I huffed.
Aalis na sana ako para magpahangin nang may humawak sa braso ko, "Lean..."
Tumingin ako sa lalakeng nakasuot ng long sleeves, he looked breathtakingly handsome that I stared at him for a moment before regaining my composure. "Gian... asan na ang iba?"
"I'm sorry but they won't be coming." Umiwas siya ng tingin.
Napataas ang isang kilay ko, I suddenly smelled something fishy, "is this a setup dinner date?" Tanong ko kay Gian, well, it all makes sense to me.
He smiled, "what if it is a yes?"
Ngumisi ako, "I'll gladly comply." Sagot ko naman, he gave me a genuine smile before guiding me to our table, I can't believe this is a setup dinner date! I thought I will only be having a family dinner, I didn't know things will end like this tonight. I never considered the idea.
Noong nakaupo na ako sa table namin, may mga waiters agad na nag-serve ng pagkain sa table namin, "Lean..."
"Hmm?"
Hindi siya umimik, noong tignan ko si Gian ay nakatitig siya sa akin, those dark pair of orbs with the glint of light and my reflection, umiwas ako ng tingin kay Gian at naramdaman kong biglang uminit ang mukha ko.
Am I blushing?!

Ian POV
"Ang bagal kumilos ni Kuya!" Asar na wika ni Tracy, I couldn't help but chuckle at my own daughter who seemed to be getting impatient, para kaming ewan na nakatago habang pinapanood si Gian at Lean.
"May mga bagay talaga na hindi dapat minamadali." Ngumiti ang asawa ko habang sinasabi ang kanyang linya, halatang kinikilig habang pinapanood sina Gian at Lean.
"Do you think everything will end fine?" Halata ang concern sa boses ng ama ni Lean, oh kumpadre, everything will end up fine.
"Hmm... mag-aminan na lang kaya sila?" Sache suggested. Lahat kami ay napatingin sa akin, he shrugged. "I mean, we all know they both have feelings for each other." Yes, we all know but that's not going to be easy after all lahat ng pinagdaanan ng dalawa?
I smiled. "That's why there's this dinner date..."

Lean POV
Hindi nagtagal ay natapos rin ang dinner date, the atmosphere was kind of awkward for my comfort, sino nga ba naman ang hindi makakaramdam ng awkwardness after all the things that had happened?!
I closed my eyes, "inaantok ka na ba?"
Tumingin ako kay Gian, "after all the almost one month sleep I've got? Haha. No." Sagot ko, "but it's disappointing the necklace is gone." Saad ko.
Nabaril kasi ang pendant ng necklace na binili ni Gian, it was shattered into pieces but it saved me from almost getting myself killed so I guess the one million was worth it. I feel sad for the future of Kim's daughter or son...
Hindi umimik si Gian, instead, he just stared at me. I'm starting to get uncomfortable sa mga titig na binibigay niya sa akin, I would like to be cliché tonight and ask is there something in my face?!
"I think it's time to go home." Saad ko.
He smiled, "ah wait..." Tumayo siya at inalalayan ako, "there's something I want to personally show you before you go home..."
Somehow, I feel something good is about to happen after this dinner...
Gian guided me into the hotel's elevator, pinindot niya ang rooftop button, it took several minutes bago bumukas ang elevator at bumungad sa akin ang malamig na hangin. Ah! Fresh air!
Naglakad kami palabas ni Gian sa elevator, tumingala ako and saw the stars looking down on me, the rooftop of the hotel was dark but it spelled the name romantic. The ambience was romantic. Everything just seem to be perfect in its place. Tumingin ako kay Gian, "and what are we doing here?"
He raised his arms and snapped his fingers, saktong 'yon ay bigla akong nakarinig ng putok. Suddenly, colors bursted into the open sky and I couldn't help but gasp as I watch the fireworks display. They look so near to me but they were actually far, siguro it was just the height of the place where we are that is doing the trick. The fireworks display felt like fairytale to me...
Hinawakan ni Gian ang kamay ko and he intertwined our fingers as the fireworks owned the night sky, tumingin ako sa kanya but he was watching the fireworks display infront of us but there was a smile plastered on his lips, "Lean..." He said, still looking at the colorful outburst of fireworks.
"Hmm?"
"Will you be my... wife?"
Biglang bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko, hindi ko alam kung tama ba ang narinig ko but I just hope what I heard was right, humarap si Gian sa akin and he knelt down, "will you... will you marry me?"
Tears started getting out of my eyes, I bit my lower lip as he silently waited for my answer, with the ring bestowed unto me. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. But a question suddenly brewed...
Am... am I ready to marry again?
Bigla kong naalala ang nakaraan, this was like that night when the twins made me chose and I choose Vian, right now... there was no Vian to choose from, it was only Gian.
For all my life, I've only seen Vian... I've only wanted to see him because I was afraid that I may fall for Gian... ayaw kong masira ang relasyon namin noon so I decided to play it safe and choose his other twin, thinking it will not ruin our friendship.
Some more fireworks exploded and I knew I had to say my answer...
"Yes..."
He smiled as he inserted the ring to my finger, it perfectly fitted me without any question. Gian pulled me and closed the distance of our lips, I closed my eyes as his warm lips claimed mine.
Tonight, everything was perfect. I hope everything will remain perfect when tomorrow comes...
