You know that feeling you get, when you’re just not in the mood?
Yeah, you feel so lonely and empty inside, and just want some food!
you’re just relaxing on the couch being all lazy.
When your stomach starts acting all grumpy and crazy!
And then you can smell the sweet aromas floating around in the air!
It’s all so nice and wonderful, and so not fair!
Because you’re all alone in the big wide house
Maybe you’re watching a movie, or Mickey mouse?
And there’s no one around, to fulfill you’re every wish
Where ether you want, chocolate, ice cream or milk and fish
And then you just feel like giving up, and just want to lay down. Turn off everything, and take a nap.
Yeah, just wrapping yourself in a blanket, an shut everyone out with a clap
But then you’d have to reach out. Reach out for the remote, but it so far away
You could always call a friend, maybe they’d pity you, but you know them, you’d had to pay
it’s just like, the world hates you, and everything is working against you!
So you just feel like ending it all! To hold your breath till your face turns blue!
But then you stop! And think… suicide is not the answer to your prayers
and in that moment. When you’re in your deepest misery, you hear a noise downstairs!
The blissful noise of the front door opening and closing again. You’re Dad.
You call out and you can hear his big feet walking up the stairs, as he walks in, you can tell his mad
“why haven’t you cleaned the bathroom?” he screams at you
you just sit with your mouth open, don’t know what to do
he forces you to clean the bathroom, and when you’re done
Dinners ready. Everything’s fantastic and wonderful! And all your misery is gone!
