I woke up the next day alone in my queen sized bed. I walk around the house calling Nate a few times but there's no answer. Knowing Nate he probably went out to get more weed.

I decided to treat myself and go out for breakfast. I run upstairs to take a quick steamy shower, put on light makeup and wear my high waisted denim jeans, a white crop top, and heels.

I grab my purse and call Aariah to see if she wants to join. After she agrees I hop in my car and bolt to her two- story town house. I see her walking out in her grey sundress and sunglasses. Typical Cali dressing. She gets in my car and we drive off, discussing where to go for breakfast. My first suggestion is McDonald's

"Ew India I hate McDonald's"

"I know but I haven't had it in soooo long"

I beg to her in a childish voice

"The judges don't let us eat fast food. Us models have to maintain our figure"

"Bitch I gotta maintain my figure too. I didn't get my ass from eating McDonald's now turn around and let's go to Cora's"

I laugh hysterically in response and before I know it I'm rapidly cut off by a douche bag in a raggedy old Toyota. I honk repeatedly showing my anger

"Are you fucking kidding me you could've hit us!"

"Zoom up to him"

I follow Aariah's instructions and zoom up to the boy. Aariah reaches over me and sticks the finger out at him through the window

"Fuck you asshole!"

"Aariah sit down"

I beg to my crazy ass bestfriend. This is why I am always the driver. Her unbearable road rage. I look over at the boy only to see him chuckling a bit. He speeds up and I lose sight of him almost instantly.

Not too long after, Aariah and I arrive to Cora's. We order our food and as we eat she suggests that we go shopping for my next photo shoot. After spending the whole day buying clothes we finally head back to the car. I turn the keys and just my luck this shit won't start.

"What the hell?!"

"Why won't your car start?"

"I don't know Aariah why don't you ask it?"

I say in a sarcastic tone. Aariah rolls her eyes and gets out of the car beginning to kick my white Audi R8 to each word

"Stupid.... Fucking... Car!!"

"Hey hey hey don't kick my baby"

I plea, getting out of the car to check what could possibly be wrong.

"Shit we're stuck here!"

"We are not stuck here Aariah. We just have to ask for a ride"

"Ask who? It's too dark outside to tell the difference between Jehovah's Witness and a serial killer!"

As soon as Aariah was done freaking out, someone drives by in an extremely familiar looking car

"Hey excuse me sir!!"

Aariah jumps, waving her hands in the air to catch the young-looking drivers attention. He had his SnapBack down so that we couldn't see his eyes. He had a very structured jawline and as soon as he pulled up he rolled down the window and I recognized him almost instantly

"You ladies need a ride?"

"Nope."

I walk back to the drivers seat of my car to try calling Nate one more time

"Um yes we do need a ride, India what are you doing?"

"Aariah that's the asshole that cut us off earlier."

"And you're the bitch that was driving as if we were on turtle express."

He says with a sly smile. My face goes red with fury at the disrespectful comment he had just tossed at me

"Consider this ride as my way of apologizing to you babygirl"

"There is no way in hell I am getting in that car with you"

"I can!"

Aariah jumps at the offer and runs into the back seat

"Aariah!"

I chase after her, stopping outside the passenger side of the car

"Get in babygirl. I don't bite I promise"

He chuckles a bit, sending butterflies through my body. I finally give in and open the car door to the passenger side

"You take us straight home! No pit stops, no sweet talk and definitely no touching"

"India get in the car he's not a fucking rapist.... He's too cute"

Aariah converts her gaze towards the boy looking a bit psychotic. I roll my eyes and place my bag on the floor of the car as I sit down in the seat. He drives off one hand on the wheel and the other on the arm rest next to my own.

"So mysterious driver"

I break the akward silence consisting of him driving, me looking out the window, and Aariah's staring, probably fantasizing about their wedding

"What do they call you around here?"

He lifts up his hat revealing his big brown eyes making direct eye contact with me. I swooned at his introduction

"It's Luh.... Derek Luh"
