It was your 8th birthday, your parents invited the whole family members to your house, it was a good evening... Your cousins pushed your head down towards the cake, covering you with a lot of frosting in the process, they also gave you pretty things as gifts. A doll, nice clothes, game boards, etc.

Hours later all of them left and you were alone with your parents watching TV, you were about to fall asleep when your father stood up and headed to another room. No long after he came back with a big box in his arms, on the top there was a cyan blanket. You looked at it as your father spoke.

"(Y/N), remember that you told us about what you wanted for your birthday?" He asked with a bright smile as you bounced happily, replying loudly.

"Yes, daddy! I wanted a dog!"

"Then, come here and open your present". Your father said while he was putting the box down for you to open it and see its content. You lifted the blanket and then tilted your head a bit for a better view.

What you saw was a little boy sleeping peacefully inside that comfy prison he was in. He had white soft ears that matched his hair and tail which they were of the same color, his skin was as pale as the milk itself, he looked like a boy of 9 years old though. You continued to stare at him with curiosity, not sure what he was until you mother explained.

"He's a neko, (Y/N), he's half cat and half human". You were amazed by your mother's explanation, sure you wanted a dog, but you weren't expecting a cat, even less if he's half human. It was hard for you to look away, you were fascinated with your new friend.

You decided to touch his ears softly, but the movement made the neko to open his eyes. You realized that he had such beautiful greenish-gray eyes, and they were looking at your (e/c) orbs deeply, you waited for his next move until you heard him making a sound.

"Nya..." The boy said and sat down with a smile on his face. You smiled back and asked him shyly.

"Um... H-Hello... What's your name?" The white neko opened his mouth to reply, his way of talking was a bit weird to you.

"M-Mwy name is Nagito K-Komwaeda..." You giggled sweetly and replied.

"Well Nagito-kun, I'm (Y/N) (L/N). I'll be your friend!" Nagito raised an eyebrow at your words.

"F-Fwiend?" He asked and you hugged him while bouncing. The white haired boy stood there speechless but after a few seconds he hugged you back.

9 years passed... your friendship with Nagito was growing up each day. He was for you a person who you could trust your deep secrets, an accomplice in your antics, your family... You never treated him like a normal owner treats their pets, and Nagito was very grateful at your kindness, you also helped him with his way of speak. Now you both are teenagers.

Your parents thought that the marshmallow haired boy should attend school, you totally agreed with that idea. The only problem was Nagito's appearance. There was no way that your classmates won't freak out with Nagito's cat ears and tail, so you opted to hide them under his clothing. Although, Komaeda wasn't very cooperative.

"Goddamit Nagito! Stay still!" You yelled while twisting Komaeda's tail in an attempt to hide it.

"Although I deserve this, it hurts (Y/N)-sama... N-Nya!" Nagito yelled in pain, clenching his teeth.

"This is not a punishment and I told you not to call me sama." You said and stopped your actions for a minute. It was more difficult than you thought it would be. Nagito stood up and rubbed his tail.

"I think hiding my tail under my pants would be easier than twisting it." He spoke and hide his tail under his clothing. You breathed deeply as you sat down on your bed.

"Oh right, sorry... Now put your hood on." You commanded and he did so, he was wearing his usual clothes. Fortunately his jacket had a hood so he could hide his adorable white cat ears. Once you both were ready, you walked towards the door to open it, but Nagito wrapped his arms quickly around your waist, pushing you against the door in the process.

"N-Nagito, get off. We'll be late for school!" You yelled while trying to push the Neko boy away but it was useless. His grip was super tight, you never thought he was that strong.

"You took care of me all this years, you were so sweet with me... now is time for me to return the favor, (Y/N)-sama." Nagito replied, his eyes shone with love and lust. You felt a bit scared. He laid you down on your divan-bed while he was taking his clothing off. Seconds later, he was on top of you.

"Nagito...d-don't..." You stuttered. Your face was crimson red as you felt Nagito's body on top of yours. What if your parents arrived? They'll probably take him far away and you'd never see him.

"Don't worry about your parents, they told me they won't return until 10pm~" He whispered in your ear as he lifted your shirt up, kissing the skin in his way down. He purred sweetly while his tail was wagging slowly.

"I won't let you do whatever you want." You said smirking. You loved your friend, but is not the time for doing what he pleases.

"We'll see about that, (Y/N)-sama."

Nagito's cold fingers were stroking your sides, neck, stomach...You gasped at his touch that made you feel good and guilty at the same time, you flipped him hard with your hands on his waist, putting him beside you. You stroked his hair softly and lovingly and he purred once again. Burying his face on your neck as he slowly closed his eyes. You grinned triumphaly and kissed the top of his head. The last words you heard from Nagito's lips before he fell asleep were...

Prrrr... I love you... (Y/N)~

Your heart was fluttering in your chest at the sweetness of his words. You loved him since the day he came to your house. You couldn't be more grateful with your parents for letting him in into your life. Nagito was not your pet, he was more than that.

I love you too, Nagito~

No long after you said that, the world faded away.
