"Matty don't eat the cookie dough?"
"Why not mommy?" He says with his puppy dog eyes.
"Because if you keep eating it we won't have left to make cookies." I give smile.
Since Matthew and Lauren are having a daddy and daughter day. I decided that me and Matty should spend some time together.
We mix the ingredients together and put them unto a pan. "Now we place them into the oven and wait for them to get done."
"How long mommy?" Matty ask while rubbing his tummy.
"Not long but how about we pass the time by watching t.v. Matty and I watch t.v. until the timer went off. Matty runs into the kitchen and looked in the oven. "Done?"
"Done." I put my oven mits on and take out the pan of cookies. "Mmmm they look good mommy."
"Yep they sure do." I place them unto the table and take my mits off. When I turn around I Matty reaching out to get a cookie.
"Matty, No!" I pull his hand away from the cookies. "Give them time to cool down first okay?" He nods his head letting me know his understands. "How about we play hide and seek while we wait. Matty eyes open in excitemen. Matty love hide and seek. It's his favorite game. After one round we come back into the kitchen to eat the cookies.
"There sooo good mommy." Matty says as he grabs his fifth one. "Thank you sweetie but let's save some for you farther and sister okay." He nods and finishes glass of milk. When I look at the clock I see it's five o'clock. Time to start dinner.
"Hey Matty, want to help mommy make dinner?"
Yes as mommy." I laughed and grab his hand and began to make dinner. I hope to have some more one on one time with Matty a lot more.
Sorry it took me sooo long to update. This is what Matty and Leila where doing while Matthew and Lauren where out....... : ) more to come.....
