Dear Diary,
Today is my first entry so I guess I'll start it by introducing myself. Assalaamu Alaykum, my name is Aisha. I'm sixteen years old, soon to be seventeen on December 27 and a senior once school starts in September. (Go me!) I was born to two loving Fula parents from Guinea, Conakry. Unlike some girls who learn English and forget their home language, I still know how to speak Fulani, alhamdulillah. I have two best friends, one named Fatima, and another named Laila, although the latter lives in a different state than me, but we still manage to keep in contact most of the time, maashaa'Allah. I love big sweaters, oversized cardigans, hot tea, and cold weather. My favorite season is Fall and I love watching the leaves on the trees fall. I am very awkward and self-conscious and cannot help it for my life. I'm still trying to work on it and will get better on being more social and not so mean insha'Allah, lol. Well that's all for now. Good night.
