Cliff meets Sophia at her neighborhood clubhouse. Memories spring back of the countless summers they swam at the pool. It was the perfect hangout. Sophia nurtured her flawless tan and Cliff lifted weights in the small workout room in the basement.

"Finally, you're here," Sophia says with a cutting tone as Cliff enters the gym.

"Calm down. You said six p.m."

"And what time is it now?"

"Seriously, Soph."

"You know how valuable my time is. I hate when people are late."

"You really want to get into this? Or do you want to take that anger and put it into your workout. Come on, let's go."

Sophia lies on her back with her hands on Cliff's ankles. He's standing behind her. She pulls her legs up and he pushes them back down.

"Don't let your feet touch the ground and keep your legs straight. Come on, don't stop."

"That was ten." Sophia mumbles out of breath.

"Three more, two... one... All right nice job."

Sophia is lying on the floor, exhausted and out of breath.

Cliff stands in front of her and lowers his hand to help her get up.

"See, don't you feel better now?"

As Sophia grabs his hand, she lets out a laugh, "I hate you."

"Yeah, yeah. Take a shower you stink," Cliff winks.

Sophia starts to walk off, stops and throws a small white towel at Cliff, "Bye nerd. I'll be over in an hour."
