"When will I be able to see you again?" I choked through me tears, while clutching onto his shirt.

"Soon enough babygirl, but for now, I can't use the phone, they've taken my phone privilege along with my visitation. I'm going to send you letters and I expect to get some back." he said as the prison guards started to approach us, visiting time was over.

We kissed one last time and he passed me a note as the guards yanked Bryson back and placed the metal cuffs onto his wrists. I watched them remove Bryson from the room before soberly turning around and exiting back out of the prison.
I sniffled as I approached my car and pulled the folded up note out of my jacket pocket. It was a letter.

Dear Babygirl,
I know being with me these last 5 years have been extremely rough. I'm so sorry for putting you through this. I know these next 6 years will be hard, but I'm going to guide you through this. I need you to find out who set me up. We both know that was not my guns. I don't store my work in my house, so we need to find out who did it. Babygirl, I need you to run my empire while I'm away. You are smart and strong. I trust that you know what to do. I love you.
