A/N: Say hello to the drama llama ;) I know, it's a bit "overthetop", but consider the circumstances in their situations, and hopefully understand why they're reacting so drastically. Enjoy!

Chapter 6

My head was spinning, and an unbearable annoyance had settled over me. This stupid secret was getting to me. I lashed out at some of my best friends for worrying about me.

I mean, they were prying a lot, so I didn't feel too awful about it.

"Hey Scott," Kevin greeted as he opened the door.

"I need to talk to Avi," I blurted out.

His face was claimed by worry, "Is everything okay?"

I stifled an eye roll before walking in past him, abruptly. God, what was wrong with me? I was never this rude, especially to my friends.

"Avi!" I exclaimed.

He emerged from his room, moments later.

"Scott, I thought you weren't coming over," he stated, before his eyes darted to Kevin.

"Scott, what's wrong?" Kevin asked worriedly.

It was too much.

"Avi and I are seeing each other," I blurted out.

Avi sighed in defeat as he closed his eyes, "We agreed that we were gonna wait," he pointed out.

I shook my head. "Mitch and Alex know too," I informed him, "Want me to call Kirstie too? I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate being left out," I rambled, resulting in an annoyed look from Avi.

"We agreed to the rule that dating among the band could—" Kevin started, but I didn't want to hear it.

"I know!" I practically shouted.

Avi sighed in annoyance, "Scott...just...calm down," he coaxed.

I backed away, "I can't. This is why I can't keep secrets. I get anxious, and then I just snap," I retorted frantically.

He nodded, "I shouldn't have made you keep the secret for so long."

I took deep, uneven breaths, "I snapped at Mitch and Alex. God, they're gonna hate me. First I lied, and then I—" I was cut off by an annoying beeping sound from the kitchen.

I rolled my eyes and went to tend to it as I continued rambling.

"It's not like they weren't prying, so it's not my fault that I got annoyed, right?" I asked as I jabbed my finger into the timer button, silencing the irritating sound.

"Hey, you need to calm down," Avi advised as he walked towards the kitchen, looking cautious. Kevin remained awkwardly silent, watching the mess that was me.

In that moment, I thought it would be kind of me to remove whatever was in the oven, so it wouldn't burn. But it's not like I could form logical thoughts.

"Just because I care about them a lot, it doesn't mean I can't get mad them, right?" I quizzed as I swung the oven door open and reached in for the pan of whatever they were cooking.

"Scott, don't!" Avi exclaimed as he lunged towards me, but it was too late.

I yelled out in pain as the heat of the pan seared into my hand. I stumbled back, as the pan hit the tile, letting the food fall all over the floor.

I breathed heavily as I looked down at my burning hand.

I wasn't starting to cry from the pain, I was starting to cry because I was a mess. I'd never been like this before, and I hated it. I felt like I was suffocating.
