"Um, Sophie?" Kaleb Asked Again. What Should I Say? I'll just Lie... "I Last Remember Walking Into the gym.. and then After That It Was A blur." Hopefully he Believes This. "Oh. Well Um, You Walked In And I Saw You.. You Had A Bruise On Your cheek. I Had Previously Heard Josef Yelling At Jason About Smacking You, So I got Mad And kind Of Lost It. I Shifted. Into A Wolf. Do You remember That?" Kaleb cautiously asked me.
So I wasn't just imagining all this. Its forreal. Kaleb is a wolf. Holly crap.
I just started at him wide-eyed. I thought these types of things were fantasy.. Not real. So does this mean vampires, faries, and all that junk are real?
I think I'm overthinking here. I decided to break eye-contact with kaleb and I looked around the room. It was my room. Kaleb was in my room. A Werewolf is in my room.
I got a little scared. Dont werewolves eat meat? Maybe he hung around me this whole time so he could eat me.
"Sophia, listen to me I'm not gonna hurt you. Yes I'm a werewolf. But I'm not the scary type. I actually can control when I shift. Listen to me, this may sound crazy but you're my mate. I Couldn't believe what I was hearing. Yes, I feel shocks when we touch. Yes, I like Kaleb. But I'm his mate? It explains a lot but how am I just supposed to accept something like this so soon? It's too much to handle...
"I honestly dont know what to say Kaleb. Just until a few hours ago I thought werewolves were fake and to be honest I thought you were just messing with me. You ran out my back door after we kissed. That was the best kiss I've ever had and you just left. I was confused and immensley hurt. I got to school and Jason tried to rape me. Then I end up seeing you, Jason, and Josef Shift into huge wolves! Now you're telling me we're made for each other? Mates? It's too much.." He stared at me with painful eyes. He looked devastated. Like he was about to cry. I couldn't stand seeing him like this any longer. It broke my heart.
"But.... I do like you Kaleb. I will need to get use to it so help me out okay?" I Smiled brightly and pulled his face to mine and smashed out lips together. He liked the bottom of my lip asking for entrance. I immediately gave in and let our tongues explore each others mouth's. I pulled away from the kiss needing air and he got on top of me and stared kissing my neck slowly. He licked the spot where he bit me before and he tensed up again and pulled back to look at me. His crystal blue eyes were almost black now.
" I need to tell you something.. That night I ran out of your house after we made out, I didn't leave because I regretted it. I left because I accidentally let my wolf take control and I marked You. Thats why I bit you. Please, Dont be mad. It just shows other untamed male wolves that you're taken. " He said almost proudly of himself. I blushed and giggled a little.
" Its okay. I dont mind Kaleb as long as thats all. I'm still new to this whole wolf thing so you're gonna have to help me through this. " I didn't know why I felt so strongly about him. I really like Him. I love him to be honest. At least I feel like I do. I can't tell him that yet though.
He Laughed nervously. " About that.. you see since I marked you, It's gonna be harder for me to keep my distance. I can only be away from you for so long before I cant take it anymore. It also makes it much harder to not complete the mating process.. Meaning, I might not be able to control my hormones sometimes." I was completely confused. We have to complete a mating process? "What's the mating process?" I seriously needed to know this. "Um, Its when I mark you and then we um, Make Love. Have Sex." Kaleb was blushing like crazy and I was completely shocked. How long until he looses it and wants to have sex? I mean sure, I like him but I didn't wanna give in so easily...
"Oh. well how long until you wanna have sex?" I couldn't help but ask. "Um, whenever you fee ready baby. I'll try to control my wolf as long as I can." He stated honestly. I truthfully dont know when I'll be ready. But I sure hope it's soon.
"Thanks Kaleb.. Um, I'm Actually really tired. You can head home if you'd like. I'm gonna go to sleep. I guess I wont be going to school tomorrow." I honesly dont wanna go to school. My head is hurting and I need to rest for a day. I just wish Kaleb could stay also.
"Well, I'm staying here tonight. Your parents already said it was fine and since you wanna stay tomorrow also I'll stay with you as well. I honestly don't wanna go and just get harrassed by all the sluts." I couldn't help but laugh at how afraid he looked. I guess he didn't like girls hanging on him. "Oh, Okay Thanks Kaleb". I Layed Down and he did the same and pulled me into his chest. He was so warm. I cuddled into it and Began falling asleep. I felt him kiss my forehead. "Goodnight my beautiful princess. I love you so much."
And with that.
I Fell asleep in the safest place in the world.
