Unwanted

Chapter 10

"Robert?" Noel questioned, clearly confused.

Shit was about to go down and I didn't know if I wanted it to happen. I didn't feel all that bad after the argument we just had.

"Hey Noel," Robert said nonchalantly.

"What are you doing here?" Noel asked. He didn't know what we had planned.

Our plan was for me to go and to lead Noel on pretending that I was enjoying it (which wasn't hard to do turns out) and then Robert would show up to basically make him jealous. It wasn't that evil but it would get the message to Noel that I wasn't one to play with and I wasn't just sitting around stuck on him (which was kinda the case).

Oddly enough Robert has no issues playing his part in our little scheme. 

"I'm here to pick up Serena," he said shrugging, perfectly acting it out. He would have convinced me in a heartbeat.

"What?" Noel said looking between myself and Robert and I couldn't help but feel a bit bad.

The anger that flickered through his eyes was almost enough to make me go running to him and tell him it was all a joke. Just as I was thinking about it Robert grabbed my hand holding me back.

" Oh, you didn't know?" Robert said pretending to be confused.

"What the hell?!" Noel said whilst standing up, eyeing our hands that were interlocked. His eyes were turning darker. I now knew this was not going to end well. For anyone.

I quickly peeled my hand from Roberts and took a step between the two boys.

"Well Serena and I are kinda a thing," Robert said getting angrier, the tension growing in the room.

My head snapped to Robert and I gave him a what the hell look. That was not in the script.

The growl that erupted from Noel sent shivers down my spine and made my knees buckle but, luckily I was able to stand my ground.

"You're lying," said Noel in a menacing tone. I was surprised when Robert answered with such authority against his Alpha. 

"You had your chance Chandler as you have with all the girls, now she's mine." it felt like they had some previous tension that I was being brought into. 

"Whoa whoa whoa, I'm no one's," I stated firmly mostly trying to calm the raging Alpha who was inching closer to Robert and I. 

This was not part of the plan, I don't know what Robert is doing. I clearly said I didn't want a showdown, just a little jealously then we would leave. 

Another growl from Noel echoed in the cave, but this time surprisingly Robert returned with a growl of his own. Obviously significantly less powerful but still enough to make the hairs on my neck stand up.

"Umm guys, let's just settle down here..." I said looking between the two boys frantically. They looked ready to shift into their wolf which would end badly for Robert.

Robert compared to Noel was like comparing a mouse to a mountain lion.

"Get out of the way Serena," Noel growled keeping his eyes on Robert the whole time.

If someone got hurt it would be on me and I couldn't let that happen.

"No."

"Move now," Noel said again this time looking at me and deepening his voice. Our eyes meet and it was hard to look away. his eyes had deepened to almost completely black. 

"Babe, move." Babe? Who the hell told Robert that he could call me babe? He is crossing the line.

"Okay do not ever call me bab-" and with one quick movement of Roberts left arm I was pushed out of the way quite forcefully and landed on my ass with a thud. 

 Robert launched himself at Noel, he had no chance against Noel and I didn't even know why he tried.

I quickly got on my feet to attempt to break up this fight. 

"That's enough, " I said sternly stepping between the boys once again, I looked at Robert, "your not even my mate," then I looked at Noel angrily, "and you are my mate but you rejected me. So I'm no one's so could you guys just stop! Your both acting like idiots!" I yelled making my voice echo in the cave. I was out of breath from my little rant.

I looked between the two boys and they were both taken aback.

"Serena-" Noel started saying a slight hint of regret in his voice.

"Please I don't want to hear it I just want to go home." I said holding my hand you to Noel, "You both need to go home."

Robert huffed a bit but he knew he wasn't winning this argument so he complied and headed out of the cave giving Noel a quick glance before he left.

" You can go too," I said looking down at my feet not wanting to look at Noel.

" How are you going to get home?" He asked stepping towards me. his proximity making my body heat up.

" Vals coming. Don't worry about me." I said looking up at him.

" You sure?" He said unsure.

I nodded.

He nodded back seeing that I wasn't in the mood to talk to him. finally, he took the hint. And with that, he exited the cave leaving me alone.

After I was sure he was gone I let one tear slip out then two then three and before I knew it I was full-on sobbing, again, and I couldn't stop. I haven't cried this much in my whole life like I have this week.
