Iwatobi Mental Institution

Hey guys, guess who's back "=_= I'm so sorry for being away for so long. I didn't mean for that to happen but life and school and shit. Anyway, a continuation of the Iwatobi Mental institution was requested by @AlexisNicoleSantos to do this with the other guys that was mentioned in my first installment of Nagisa. I also got a request for a 50% off Haru from @KalicaHibari which I'm sorry that I'm not making that a separate request from this but I hope you like this. So here it is, this is the Haru one and I'll be doing a Makoto, Rei and even a Gou one for shits and giggles (the Gou one will be a male reader but I encourage even my female readers to read it if you have no problem imagining yourself as a guy). Now without farther delay, here is the Haru one...

~? POV~

Iwatobi Mental Institution was a relatively nice psychiatric facility for the mentally ill. There weren't many residents there. In fact, there were a total of five residents.

Nanase Haruka, a young male who suffers multiple personality disorder. The doctors still don't know how many personalities he has total but some of them are dangerous.

Tachibana Makoto, a young male who suffers from severe anxiety disorder. The doctors have located the cause as an incident with the ocean when he was young, and has him here for treatment. So far, no treatment has helped heal him.

Ryugazaki Rei, a young male who suffers from schizophrenia. The doctors have been examining him due to how early he began to show symptoms of the mental disorder.

Matsuoka Gou, a young female who suffers from abnormal fangirl episodes. The doctors have yet to determine what triggers these episodes, though they do suspect it has to do with muscles and hot guys. (Same Gou, same. I suffer this as well XD)

Lastly, there is Hazuki Nagisa, a young male who has bipolar disorder and suffers psychotic episodes at random times. Lately, the doctors have notice that there has been one psychotic hallucination that he has seen everyday for a few weeks now.

Who are all the personalities of Mr. Nanase? No one really knows, at least no until the Iwatobi Mental Institution gets a new resident. A young girl who just might change things up around there...

~(Y/N)'s POV~

You could tell that Iwatobi was a nice facility, way better than your previous facility that you stayed at. One your first day, the nurses there helped you get settled and you met your doctor, one whom specializes in your rare mental illness, Ganser Syndrome. (Know that I did bother to read about this mental illness before choosing it so I'm not trying to offend anyone with a mental illness here and I'm not trying to make light of mental illnesses either)

Your parents had been scared that moving you to a different facility would trigger one of your  schizophrenic-like episodes but the transition had been smooth and the staff at Iwatobi was nice. Your legs seemed to move like normal, not expressing their hysterical paralysis that sometimes seems to happen when it gets bad.

On your second day, the nurses let you met some of the other patients since your first day seemed to go well enough. Your doctor, of course, encouraged it even though you were unsure about the idea. New people were not your strong suit.

When you were shown to the rec room, you saw three guys and a girl scattered around the room. One guy with dark blue hair sat reading a book in a lumpy armchair in the corner, while another guy, with brown hair this time, and the girl were watching something on the tv. The last guy, with an almost steel grey color of hair, was looking at a shelf of different board games, trying to choose one.

Since you didn't really care for tv that much, you chose to wander over and join the board game guy. "Hello," You greet him quietly.

He looks at you and is silent for a while, studying you. "Hello," He seems to decide to say before returning to looking at the shelf.

"What are you doing?" You ask him after a moment of silence.

"Trying to find a game we can play," He replied.

"We?" You ask him curiously.

He gave a simple reply of tapping his temple and you understood.

"Oh, multiple personalities. Mind if I join you?" You ask him and look at the shelf as well.

"Sure." He says while grabbing a game called Betrayal at the House on the Hill. You follow him to sit down with him and allow him to set up the game. You had never played the game and you voiced as much.

"We'll teach you. I'm Haru by the way." He offers and you smile.

"I'm (Y/N). Got any other names I should know as well?" You ask him. One of your sort of friends at the last institution you were at also had multiple personalities.

"Just Haru is fine." He says before beginning to teach you how to play the game. You learn quickly and fall into a familiar rhythm with Haru.

"Where are you from?" He asks you as he moves one of his five pieces on the board.

"Mars." You reply and know that it's vorbeireden again. Vorbeireden is when a person gives nonsense answers to simple questions.

He gives a little chuckle to your answer and you felt it happening was worth it. "Why did you get locked up?" He asks you another question.

"I have Ganser Syndrome." You answer honestly this time and you're grateful.

"I've never heard of it before," He says before pausing. "Wait now I have, thanks." He says and you know it must have been one of his personalities.

The banter between the two of you continue like that, exchanging questions between each other, some of your answers affected by vorbeireden while others are honest. They make him sometimes chuckle but it doesn't feel like he's laughing at you. In all it felt rather peaceful and even normal.

By the time you had to go see your doctor before lights out, you were really enjoying yourself with Haru. As you go to leave, you give him a little peck on the cheek and say, "See you later, Haru, and Haru, and Haru, and every other Haru."

His cheeks turned pink as you went to leave and you heard him mutter, "Don't blush you idiot. It's an involuntary reaction. Shut up idiots. I vote that we kill her. No way, she's fun. I agree, we can't kill her..."

One thing you had noticed was how Haru tended  vocalize his personalities when he was embarrassed and you smiled. You couldn't wait to learn more about the strange patient you got a crush on. Yeah, Iwatobi had definitely been a good decision...

So did you guys like this one? I hope so bc I spent quite a while trying to figure out how to write oneshots for all my Iwatobi Mental Institution patients. Thanks for reading though guys and I'm sorry if I got some details about these illnesses wrong. Feel free to correct me so I can correct the story.
