Chapter 38

-Louis-

We jumped into the car. Urgh, squeezy.

I started driving, heading towards the nearest hospital so we could make sure Niall Or Jessica ain't seriously hurt anywhere. I looked into the mirror and saw Valerie talking to somebody on the phone.

" Who did you call?" I asked after she ended her call.

" Police. Duh. " Valerie replied.

" Did they do anything to you Valerie? " Harry asked.

-Valerie-

I was having a mini debate in my mind. Should I tell them what happened? Should I not?

" They... they... " I paused.

" They what?" Liam asked.

" They... didn't do anything to me." I lied.

" Jessica, Niall, did they do anything to you ?" Harry asked them.

" They beat us up. Well that's about it. And my arm hurts. Urgh..." Jessica replied.

*At the hospital*

" Doctor, how is Niall and Jessica? " Liam asked on behalf of all of us.

" Niall just got a few cuts and bruises, everything else fine. Same for Jessica but she fractured her left arm. " The doctor read from the clipboard he was holding.

" When can they go home?" Louis asked.

" They can be discharged today. " The doctor smiled and walked away.

We pushed the doors open and entered.

Two standard hospital beds were placed next to each other, separated by just two side tables.

We walked towards them and there lay Niall and Jessica, each sleeping soundly in their own beds.

Liam placed his index finger over his lip signalling for us to keep quiet. He whispered "follow me" and we did as we were told.

" Hey maybe we should go grab some food at the cafeteria first and let them have their needed rest before they're being discharged. " Liam said.

###Fast forward to 3 days later###

" Guys! Guys! It's the police calling. " I announced pointing at my phone. All of them rushed towards the couch where I was siting on(in Niall's house).

" Answer it you pig brain. " Louis yelled.

" Oh right. " I replied, not a teeny bit offended. Well, I'M used to it.

I swiped the screen to answer and blocked the speaker button.

Police: " Hello. Is this Valerie?"

Valerie: " Yes this is."

Police: " Regarding the issue you reported a few days ago, Sean and his man have been arrested. However, we do not have proof Or a witness to confirm that they indeed kidnap Niall and Jessica and demanded for a ransom. We have also checked their bank accounts and the money they demanded for, did not add up to a million pounds. "

Valerie: " Hold on, where did you arrest them? "

Police: " Well, using the picture you sent of Sean, we caught him at a pub with a few other men yesterday evening. We arrested all of them. "

Valerie: "Ok so I think the first thing you should do now is go to his house. You'd probably find evidence there. "

Police: " Alright, We'll get back to you soon. "

Valerie: " Oh and we did talk through the phone a few times. You can check my phone history. "

Police: " Oh that's great. I hope you can come to the Police station now so we can see it?"

Valerie: "Sure! I'll be there soon!"

Police: " Thank you for you co-operation. "

" I'll drive you there" Harry said.

I nodded.

##Police station##

I handed my phone to the Police.

" Alright, so Valerie, is it Ok if you leave your phone with us for a fee days so we can investigate?" The Police asked.

" Yea sure !!" I replied.

" We'll be heading over to his house very soon. But before that, may I know why he asked for a million pounds from you, of all people in the world? Do you know him before this happened? What's your relationship with him. " the Police asked.

Shit. Relationship with Sean? Did I have to say it?!?!

Well let me explain.

Although it's the holidays(1month=_=) now, but you see, life sux. I have like tons and tons of homework. TONS. And I haven't even completed them yet.

FML. Just FML.
