Misaki POV
...Kise..Ryota?

He stares at me with bright, golden orbs – awaiting my response, I suppose – while my eyes widen in astonishment when I recognise his name. Ooooh! The Generation of Miracles. I mentally slap myself for not noticing it earlier. It's the 'Ridiculously strong' middle school team of cocky, prideful guys, well, so I've heard. And one is standing right in front of me.

"Ah. The Generation Of Miracles, right? Hmph, to think i'd run into one of those." I say with amusement, turning my head around and rolling my eyes. With my milkshake in toe, I walk away from the blonde basketball player and go to sit at a table.

"Hey! Wait up!" Kise moans, grabbing his milkshake and following up behind me. I sigh as he joins me at my table, sitting opposite me, with a pout on his face. "That was rude, noname-cchi."

"I have a name!" I blurt out, shaking my head at him with a look of discomfort. I take a sip of my chocolate milkshake, and take a moment to look the guy over.

Brilliant blonde hair and some-what golden eyes; tall figure; constant smile and I can add a head full of nothing but air.

"Then what is it?" He asks, smirking and taking a sip of his milkshake. His smirk makes me feel uneasy, like it doesn't belong on such a happy face. His aura has completely changed, and it intrigues me. I wonder if it's the same when he plays basketball, too. I shake my head noticing I blacked out for a moment, and he raises an eyebrow at me.

"Misaki Azura." I say blunty, closing my eyelids and taking a breath. I just told a stranger my name, good going Azura. But he doesn't seem like a bad guy, so maybe it doesn't matter. I might not even see him again, after all.

"Ahh soo...Misaki-cchi!" He gleams, a flash of content and joy on his face.

M-Misaki-cchi??

I sweatdrop, then I my hand moves to my head as I take in that telling him my name really was a bad idea.

"Why Misaki-cchi?" I moan, pain and distress leaking out with my words.

"I add '-cchi' to the names of those–"

"Nevermind." I cut him off, lifting my head up and once again looking at the basketball player. If I recall, he's a model too. I think this whole dumb blonde thing suits him rather well. Although, he's not what I expected. He's calmer and more happy-go-lucky than I thought a prodigy would be, and in person, he's a little hot, if i must be honest with myself.

He looks back at me, with a look that I can't quite figure out. Once he notes that I'm staring, he smirks and remarks, "Why are you staring, Misaki-cchi?" He suddenly moves closer, startling me, and heat rises to my cheeks. Theres a knot in my stomach after what he says next. "Like what you see~?"

Blushing, I instantly move away, flustered, and shout, "Noooo!....No!" I look out the window and cup my cheeks in an attempt to hide my light blush. I hear him chuckling across from me and pout.

My eyes are shut, and I shake my head gently at my responce. Honestly, I'm not sure why I got so flustered by his comment. I decided to shrug it off, though.

His laughter dies down, and I peek one eye out towards him. He looks like he's suddenly recognised or remembered something, and my eyebrows furrow with anticipation.

"You're wearing a Touou uniform? Isn't that the school Aomine-cchi went to?"

Aomine? The Ace of the Generation of Miracles?

"Oh. Um, I don't know." I say honestly, "You all went to different schools then?"

"Yeah..." He replies, scratching the back of his head with a nervous laugh.

Aomine Daiki went to Touou? Im surprised I heard no gossip from girls or something about it. You'd think you'd know if a Generation of Miracle came to your school.

Theres a reluctant moment of silence, and all thoughts of the Generation of Miracles' ace escape mind as I remember that I should be heading home.

"Ah, Kise, I have to go..." I state, gathering up my school bag and finishing off the remains of my chocolate milkshake.

"Ahh...it is getting late." He hums, standing up too. I raise an eyebrow at his unexpected actions. He notices, and adds, "Where do you live? Ill walk you home."

Blush tries to creep its way up my cheeks, but I force it to go away. "You don't need to, I'll be fine."

"Its dark. It would be rude of me to let you go home by yourself, Misaki-cchi." He concludes, looking at me dead in the eyes. I look at him back, considering it. Its not exactly like were friends, we just met; I'm not one to get close after having small chatter with someone. Even so, I break contact with a pout on my lips.

"Alright. I live just around the corner, at the end of the road." I begin to walk out of the building, and as expected Kise trots after me.

Its weird having someone I just met walk me home, but for some reason it doesn't bother me as much as it should. I could use some company, anyways.

"So...Misaki-cchi..." I hear him start from next to me, trying to break the silence.

I feel quite awkward, walking next to a male. Ive always been friends with girls, so this is different. Well Mum, I'm trying something different. I mentally laugh at myself, wondering what my Mum would think. But I didnt expected it, either. Especially the male being the Small Forward of the Generation of Miracles.

"Whats your favourite sport?"

My face falls, and I struggle to find an answer. I shrug, and reply, "I dunno. I don't play much sport."

I can feel Kise's disappointment radiating next to me, and I feel rather bad for making him upset. I think I just should've of just lied and said Basketball or something. But his facade changes, and I can see a shimmer of excitement in his eyes.

"Well then, you have to try Basketball!" He gleams, looking towards me with the largest smile I've ever seen. His eyes are stars, they are shining so brightly all of a sudden. "Maybe I can teach you! You need to try it, Misaki-cchi!"

"I've never some one light up so much about something before." I laugh, and he pauses to laugh nervously. "And maybe...I'm not sure ill be any good though..."

"You never know, Misaki-cchi!"

"Yeah yeah." I roll my eyes, stopping at my door step. I glance at Kise, and his smile illuminates the night. I feel mesmerised by it. Uncontrollably, I smile to myself, opening my front door: but before I go inside, I say, "Alright then. Show me how great Basketball is, Kise."
