In the AU, Ghost doesn't exist.
He never did.
Neither did Rob or Baki or Lach or Ty or anyone else Double thought he actually met.
They were fragments of his imagination.
Ghost was a artificial intelligence. He wasn't made to feel, yet he felt something for Double.
Ghost was never meant to be created. He was a mistake. As such, he was deleted from the program Double was trapped in. He pixelated away with Double having to watch.
He never even got to tell Double how he felt.
